Friend for Life

Hello Virgos. I have a question. I don't know if you can help me or not, but will ask anyway.

I am a cancer woman and was briefly involved in a brief sexual relationship with a virgo guy who has an issue expressing emotions. We had a lot of communication issues and he said too much emotions drained him. We are no longer sexually involved and he is now in a relationship. We were close friends for 8 years and work at the same job. I basically just say hi to him now....no other communication.

He just sent me a text saying that he misses me and can I be his friend for life. I haven't responded as I have no clue what this means...any ideas?

Should I even respond? Honestly, we haven't had a convo in awhile and I don't even know how to respond or even approach him without feeling some type of animosity towards him.

(not a Virgo, but Piscean). Forget about the dude. There are plenty of fish in the sea 😄 I NEVER sleep with my friends and/or after I break up with a SO. You did just that...were friends for eight years, had a brief sexual relationship; see each other at work (AWKWARD and eek!). Now the dude informs you he misses you and can you be my friend. What kind of friend is that?! Friends remain friends and talk about things; as you mentioned he's not the communicative human being; so it's hard for him to do that. It's up to you if you want to remain his friend....again, awkward & eek!

@evathediva It wasnt really awkward..lol. The sexual attraction between us was off the meter. I actually thought it brought us closer. The thing that broke us was the communication. He wanted his cake and eat it to and he would say one thing and do another. The worst part is when I used to tell him how I felt, he would think I'm criticizing him. His responses would be he cannot communicate as I like or emotions drained him or he's just fucked up. It just became too much for me.

I think I'm just going to ignore the text.

Good girl!!! You're Cancerian...you grab that man (future man) with your "claws" and don't let go! When he reciprocates to your wants, wishes, compatibility, etc., he'll be yours! I've seen it! My girlfriend (Cancerian) fell in love with a Marine (they have to little girls); forgot what sign he was; as this was years ago!

Thanks everyone for your comments. He stopped me in the hall and apologized. He said he never meant to hurt me and he handled the situation wrong and wasn't in the right frame of mind...whatever that means. He also said that he misses my friendship and he wants us to be friends again. It totally caught me off guard. I told him I need time to think and I walked away.
