try something different here.Wouldn't it be great to have a conversation without any added off topic butter?I am setting this up as a rant box.If anyone has an off topic reply that they would like to make to anyone as to not disrupt the flow of the op,then bring it here and leave it.I see that so many times a subject will turn into something else,taking away from the orignal query.This is so people don't have to give two different answers in same thread,making it seem that a person has a split personality and thus lessens the impact of their orignal intended post reply.

but vulcan i understand where you are coming from
a little bit of more order sounds nice..
however, it helps to visualize dxp as a conversational place
someone brings a topic in real life and then someone else in the circle may make a comment related
to the topic even though it may not be strictly related to the initial theme
it only gets bad when things get too derailed
but if people can be respectful and get back on track to the main op...then that is good
this is pretty normal to happen in social sites that are not moderated..

im actually far more shocked by the negativity that has been spewed on some posts against virgos
im having a hard time understanding whether this is just a facade or game, or if this is for real...

I wasn't trying for order ,it would like herding cats.That would be way too egotisical to assume that I could make that happen.If thread stays on topic or if derailing happens,meh it happens.Many topics have taken some very interesting left turns.That's not what I was getting at,I just saying take the "rant"/insult and multiple replies here ,out of the equation and slug away. CG ,you'll have to ask the particular posters about their intent.

Ah, I see. And it's perfectly understandable to want that to stop, but again, to really control that, you either have to get the people to stop or have the situation moderated by someone outside who has control. Either that or quite literally bypass the comments as if they were never there.
