So I had been getting advise from @GemCurio regarding my virgo guy and he was able to help me understand my Virgo but it seems @GemCurio is MIA and no longer on DXP? 🙁 Like another post by @imascropio10 i have a question regarding my Virgo's bday. I have known my Virgo as close friends for 24yrs and dated for 7months atter his wife, my close girlfriend passed away in Aug. 2016. My Virgo came to realize he isn't ready for a relationship. I respect and understand that he needs time and space but as close as we are I hope no matter the situation still talk and be friends if that is all he is able to offer right now. He asked for space June 1, we text about every 2 weeks just to say hi and how each other is doing. @GemCurio had advised in Aug. that I should write my virgo a letter. I have and thought I would mail it with a bday card and the gift I ordered months for ago for him. Now my Virgos bday was Sept. 3 and unfortunately the gift arrived late 🙁 Now I am thinking that just mailing it is too impersonal and I would like to deliver it personally (he lives about 112km away). Do I message him a few days prior asking if it's ok to come by, do I message him when I get on the ferry (that's a 30 min ride) or do I just go to his house not sure whether he is working or not? I know that he has always said his door is open but I am also trying to respect that he has asked for space.
Looking for advise regarding my Virgo guy

Umm you’ve know him for 24 years. Go with what you know.
Internet strangers aren’t going to have insight into him that you don’t have. Js.

I would at least announce myself before going somewhere, it can be unsettling when you're not expecting it. yet again, I'm a fixed sign 😆
but I would think there's nothing wrong with saying "hey, btw I'm passing by X day" 🙂
