btw op..my virgo fiance is 54 and I am 43. I got fed up with his push-pull bs after we went from friends to relationship. he was either all the way in or he wasn't and that was the ultimatum because I have one life to live and dammit I was gonna live it with or without him...not be a puppet on a string and be an option!

Capbaby...I know really well about the push-pull... whenever I express that I am not into casual dating but something more, he will make the effort, and it is nice, but only lasts for a while...sounds like things have worked out well for you with your virgo and now you are engaged. You stood up for what you want, not really an ultimatum, but what you expect from a relationship. Good for you... hope things continue well.

Sounds like a bitch boy to me...*shrugs*.....yes man?...*shrugs*......she wears the pants?...S-m-m-f-h...

I don't think they were meant to be understood that way. They know its impossible to control a Virgo.

If there is room for doubt a Virgo will not have the confidence to move from his current position.

In such a case like this in which the above is possible—and if the woman really wants him—she has to take hold of the ropes—even if its only just for a short while.

But of course we can't be so sure that the man of the subject feels this way at all.

she's not afraid. she just likes feeling pitiful and delusional. that's why she has pursued a career instead of children and is wondering why a man who has pursued the same doesn't want a damn thing to do with her.

Seriusllllyyy !?!?!

Unless this statement has a crap load of irony... I;d like to recommend Caligula you get your head screwed on properly!

Your not funny nor interesting, let alone smart as you wish yourself to be

Get off of the OP's back !!!!

When in reality ... what Tubby said is accurate.

A person has to be able to comprehend viewpoints from a non-partial standpoint in order to realize that her comment was correct.

It's the absolute truth and only way to have a relationship with a Virgo.

Naturally, the Virgo serves. This includes their partnerships. The Virgo stands aside, watches, waits to see how to provide to thier partner what the partner needs/wants to feel loved. If the partner is passive and doesn't put on the pants .. then the Virgo becomes lost, and then usually clings to critiquing the partner due to not knowing where they are suppose to stand.

Again .... indeed, the Virgo has to be lead. they have to be shown.

P... I was being unbiased. I did not make my comment based on the fact that OP is a pisces, but rather what was implied. According to Tubby's statement every woman who chooses carrier over marriage and kids is delusional and pitiful?! That was my issue wit the statement.

Maybe, just maybe OP chose to have her own carrier so she does not turn into one of those who can not stand on their own two fee, being entirely depended on a man and based on that very need, make horrible mistakes in choosing a partner.

Actually the implication was the other way around, and the implication was accurate.

Read her words in here ... she ignores any resemblence of rational thought from posters and continues to carry on about how he, just like her, has chosen career over personal life of marriage and children.

There's nothing in here that suggests she is afraid, on the Contrary, her thoughts are caclulating in how trying to learn how to manuever with conviction. And her words are riddled with being a pity freak.

The reason a man who has chosen career over marriage and children is because that is not what he wants ... so why would a woman decide to try and trick him into it, and be surprised that he sticks to his decision of not wanting it.

Again ..... Tubby's words are concise. This Pisces female is more than likely bored, and fishing.

Tubby's words aren't addressing the reasons why the OP has chosen a career over a personal life of marriage and children, so I'm unclear where your defense comes from since it was never in question.

again, Tubby points out that the man has made the same life choice as the OP .. but, the OP cannot understand why she isn't being chosen over his career, when her of all people should "get" this concept since she made the same choice.

It's not rocket science.

That goes for anyone. If you dont tell me your needs, how can I help? Thats just common fucking sense. It has nothing to do with being a virgo ....

No, it doesn't go for anyone .. and yes to the second sentence in you have to be told .. and yes it is common sense to everyone else that's why they don't have to be told ... and it is a Virgo trait.

Because you haven't experienced life yet (which we know because you said, "she better do that") on this level, you just don't know.

It's like an alzhiemer patient .... they don't know what they don't know.

The assumption that I chose career over family and children is way inaccurate. I was in long term relationship and engaged in the past. It did not work out but not because of choosing career. My dream has always been to be in a relationship/marriage since I was young. The prince on the white horse dream etc. yes, I am a dreamer. Would've been happy to be a wife, mother. But that is not what life had in store...I am not afraid of committment but afraid to be comitted to the wrong person.

I was on the dating site to look for a relationship, not for a fling, not for casual dating. That was discussed with Virguy early on so there are no misunderstandings. He was the one contacting me, and his profile does not say that he is looking for "fun" or any indication that he is not interested in something long term.

If he changed his mind over the course of the relationship about what he wants, he could have break it off. I suggested that if he lost interest, or if not having mutual feelings, there is no reason for us to go on. He said that his feeing were mutual, and by that time he knew well how I felt. He did not want us to break up, he wanted to go on, yet things have not moved ahead much since we have started dating... And that is why I am confused.

Yes I am a fool... a fool in love...how shocking, it must have never happened to anyone in the past.

As far as being a player, I am not the one having the personals still active, he is... I did not use his emotions against him, I do not even know what his emotions are, or even if he has any, is he one of those emotionally unavailable guys... and that is what I needed to figure out, to help me make a decision, so questioned him indirectly by saying if we do not have an emotional connection, in addition the the physical, we need not go on.

He did not toss me to the curb, he sent text today.

Honestly, I think you deserve better and you did nothing wrong. He wanted his cake and to eat it too and
he was able to do that for 7 months..... and he would do a little more to keep you on the hook...when
you started to complain and question where the relationship was going.

Nothing wrong with a pity party! You deserve it for what you've been through,
just don't "celebrate " too long. Life is short so dust yourself off and get back out there....

Why should he get to be the only one still "searching "?
Just learn from the mistakes that were made on BOTH sides..... cry and move on....

Good luck fish,
Safe swimming!

Lol sorry to hear that you have to work but make your money!!!!

I'm off tonight and tomorrow so I'm trying to see what's good....
A cold front hit Houston tonight so I get to put on some new gear.... 🙂

I will have a drink to "celebrate" your freedom from the evil Dr. Virgostein....

Ha!

HaHa, you funny ... CHEERS!

Enjoy your new gear. We have had rain all day, was 80 yesterday, today in the 50s and rain... crazy midwest weather all over the place. Not looking for the winter, always burried in the snow... I was in Seattle to visit last year, and loved it there, was ready to move, never any snow, rain yes, but not snow. I really want to move from here.

I want to move to get away from the wicked winters here. I have been dealing with it since moving from Europe....many years ago and really getting fed up.

Yes, Washington/Oregon is picturesque, Mt Hood with snow covered caps, visible from the city, the mountains, gorges, the huge pine trees. hmmm...

Never really watched Greys anatomy. Too busy doing the real deal. It is never that exciting though in reality...

well, I am derailing my own thread... think i'll have to block myself....haha.

Have fun dimes. Chat soon.
