can virgos take jokes about themselves? I can make fun of myself no problem, but do you guys and gals get seriously upset when we pick fun of you. How far is too far?

Good question.

Personally, I only get upset if someone close to me uses something that is already painful for me as a joke. Otherwise, I just laugh and play with them back.

NO problem here... LOL.

No one has ever been able to make me mad in that way... I've always been able to joke and chat about any subject with no hard feelings. Don't know if that's the norm for Virgos tho.

There are times when someone will send me a joke and it's about a subject I find anoying and I'll write a very blunt reply, but in a nice way... then feel nervous that I was TOO blunt, or passed on TMI, heh.

So I don't know Arieswoman... give us your best shot! LOL

When I recall in the past about my husband and this topic, I can't see where his sense of humor is shaded in this manner. I poke at him, my son pokes at him . . he just laughs it off, knowing we're just having fun.

But, I think that leo/virgo is right in saying "I only get upset if someone close to me uses something that is already painful for me as a joke". And truefully, the only people that have ever accused him of not having a sense of humor because he got upset when something "sensitive" was used in this matter, was someone trying to take control of him.

Being an Aries and having the overwhelming desire to be at command of your world around you, and, since most Aries don't hold themselves accountable for thier mistakes, I can see how this would appear to you. For, most Aries will consider any means of "pushing" to get the other to stand down in front of them, even if it is by embarrassing them, or making fun of something very tender to their feelings.

"It means he trusts you and KNOWS you accept him for who he is."

exactly, I can take jokes about myself from good friends, and I laugh right along. But, if someone i'm not really close with makes a joke about me I get offended; especially in front of a group of people.
