So...
Yeah, I'm on fb shouting out one good friend on her bday today, and another on hers tomorrow
Plus, it's been a looooong f.n week for everyone, AND the 3 day weekend has a lot of us just wanting to go out and kick up our heels.
I'm doing laundry, and staying late at work because I'm saving my fun day for tomorrow.
As for the really good mood? Iono...I mean, I have a positive feeling about a LOT of things and people over the past day or two, but I don't know what to attribute that to. Lack of sleep? Iono...
I have gotten horribly depressed on quite a few of my past birthdays.
Looking back and being critical of myself, not being in the kind of position I want to be.
yeah, i always get pretty miserable around my birthday.
my personal guess is that it actually has something to do with the mercury retrograde in virgo. retrogrades are great times to relax because trying hard doesn't get you anywhere anyways. and if mercury is retrograde in your chart, it's even better for you. obv different people handle retrogrades in different ways. but because sorti's one of the more chill virgos around here, i'm guessing it's more good for you than bad. merc retrograde is also a great time to resolve things that have been bothering you, end friendships that have made you unhappy, etc.
i've been a little more clumsy than usual, and i had to go back home earlier to get my socks after showing up to the gym and discovering i was without them, but it's just been little stuff like that. now, the upcoming venus retrograde, which will start about halfway into libra, i'm not looking forward to that. mostly because i'm worried i'll breakout or something tragic like that.
It's such an ironic thing. I also get pretty sad around my birthday. It's not like it's ever horrible or anything; I just have this very empty feeling when it comes to it; like, it should be more fulfilling, but it just doesn't seem to do anything. I do tend to relax a bit on my birthday, reflect, and whatnot. I never felt the need to have some blown out party; just down time with a few people and realizing I'm another year older lol. Generally, I never quite feel like I've aged, but more so I've reached another level.

its my birthday and i feel like shit. ever since i was a kid ive always gotten really bummed out around my birthday. ill bounce back its nothing serious i just dont want to deal with people telling me happy birthday and all of that.
