We met first off a dating site as a fling. We hung out a couple times and then his drinking on the weekends got in the way. So I stopped talking to him. But the moment I met him, I felt a strong intense connection. It hurt me to cut him off. About a month later, he reconnects with me and we hang out for a few months, every weekend. He literally snap chats me every day and night about what he's up to etc. He definitely isn't hanging out with other women. I have helped him show that he is an amazing guy and deserves so much (as his drinking was getting the better of him). He has controlled his drinking quite a bit and has totally changed his life around. He has told me a few times that he is so grateful I came into his life and helped him get through his hard times and that I am an angel from god etc etc. So fast forward to last week. He gets drunk and wants to hook up, I did. And he told me he loved me when he was drunk. I obviously brushed it off, as he was drunk and doesn't remember. But when he drinks he always calls me and wants to hang out more than friends but when he is sober he just wants to be friends!!!! It drives me insane as when we do kiss, it's like an intense feeling and connection. All we do together is laugh and have an amazing time and would consider him my best friend. But what do I do? Just let it ride out and see what happens? Or do I ask him for an ultimatum? Or do I just date other people while he figures out what he wants?
