Hey guys. I'm just posting here to vent a little bit and need some piece of advices, please be kind.

I had no idea how crazy a cap girl can become when jealous. Me and this Cap girl share a baby's father who happens to be a Cap as well. Her child is older then mine by a few months. When I met Cap guy he had told me him and Cap girl were not together anym
There was an instant connection from the moment we first met. Everything just comes very natural to us hanging around each other, talking to one another, and interacting. He told me he really likes spending time with me, and I responded that I do too (a first for me!)
A week later, I headed out on a 2 week vacation which he texted me hoping I am enjoying my time. Since my reply on Sunday, he has not texted me for a week. We usually text maybe 1-2 times a week, so this was much longer than the usual time between texts. It was also Thanksgiving, but he didn’t reach out to say anything or reply to my text from Sunday.
Am I being too needy/insecure? I know he is a very busy man, so I want to give him his space, but is this him just being busy or him wanting to ghost me? Is he not as interested in me as he said/acted like he was? I am very confused. I would text him right now if I could, but I got a new phone this week and lost his number, so I have to wait until he texts me to get his number again.
I really like this man. He is the first man I have confidently said I liked right off the bat and I really hope things can work out between us!
