Virgo Sun and Cancer Moon

How would that be like ? it must be very difficult to feel it all and not being able to express or discuss about it ...

It sucks.

What I gathered from him .. He's a very sensitive person. He doesn't eat meat cause he feels sorry for the animal.. Hes very nurturing to people he cares about.. . Very sensitive to my needs n wants.. My moon is in Aquarius n we clash that way... ! N he hasn't moved out of him n he's almost 30... he's a soft Virgo ... I like it thought .. Good as a partner but must suck to be you :p

In some ways Virgo and Cancer are a lot alike, probably more so than either sign would like to admit at times. As children both are highly sensitive to the world around them, the slightest frustrations and upsets holding the potential to trigger emotional turmoil. And as they age and mature defense mechanisms are developed to help protect those sensitive cores. Virgo adopts rational thought processes, choosing logic and reason over emotion based responses. Sometimes this is done to the point of emotional repression, however the inner sensitivity remains even if it is carefully kept out of view. Cancer's skin thickens into their crab shell where they can hide safe from harm while their pincers reach out to snap in retaliation of any threat. Both signs' armored walls only grow tougher with each injury they experience in life.

Now combine those two influences. You end up with an individual that has twice the sensitivity, twice the need for emotional trust and comfort, and twice the need for protection. Every slight, every hurt and heartbreak and harsh word builds those walls twice as thick and the distance between the head and the heart twice as long. But the sensitivity remains. Like a miniature Sun that spark continues to burn white hot, molten beneath miles of rocky armor, beyond sharp snipping claws and lashing Mercurial tongue.

While having a Cancer Moon significantly increases Virgo's ability for empathy, it can also contribute to protective countermeasures for that sensitivity. The more you feel, the more walls you build up to keep such raw nerves safe until you get to a point where you can no longer show them at all. The more you need to love and be loved, the more your own instincts hold you back from it.

^^^ TMV well put indeed. I remember an incident he told me about where his beloved dog got killed right infront of his eyes because he was not careful and let the dog run around without a leash on. He was run over by a car. He said his heart has never been the same since. It was traumatic for him as he loved the dog deeply. I Totally understand where you are coming from. He's very empathetic towards my needs and wants .. We have a happy loving relationship and somehow struggle to give himself full force... There's still a massive wall around him that I struggle to climb over... I feel the cancer in him and yet the Virgo keeps blocking it.. He can be very mature one day and child like the next.. He's very logical and based most things by facts but very sensitive to feelings and emotions... Honestly I don't know how to get him to open up. He's clingy like a crap and logical like a typical Virgo. But I do like a crab in him... Atleast I know he has feelings deep underneath and his emphatic personality makes him a naturing person /partner... I know he will be great husband the only thin is I don't know how to lower his guard and open up his heart .. 2.5 years and I still don't feel the real love romantic love.. I do think he hides it extremely well....

Thank you for all the responses...It gives me deep insight into your Virgo+cancer combined placements. I have learnt to be very careful when I say little things to him as his cool and Calm exterior r just a fake way of protection. I need to remind myself that this man is sensitive as hell and I better watch what I say... I am nowhere sensitive .. Taurus .. N airy placements... I don't have much water in my chart.. I do cry alot n I don't know where that comes from... But I can be very honest n blunt.. So I better watch what I say...ur explanation was truly appreciated!
