Virgos & Writing

Are Virgos Typically Good Writers

Virgos are often detail-oriented and disciplined, making them well-suited for writing, especially in non-fiction and scientific fields. Many famous Virgo writers have contributed significantly to literature and philosophy. While not all Virgos write, those who do tend to work hard and produce thoughtful, precise work.

Linda Goodman: Children of Virgo fathers usually grow up with both love and respect for books and learning.

Amanda Patterson: As writers, Virgos make good non-fiction authors, especially in Physical and Chemical Sciences. They love details and they have an ability to judge things correctly with only a glance.

They can become great philosophical writers. H L Mencken, William Golding and Samuel Johnson really force you to think.

It is interesting that the prolific crime writers, Agatha Christie and John Creasey share this sign.

Virgo writers work hard and once they start, there's no stopping them. Stephen King is a perfect example. John Creasy received over 600 rejections before his first book was accepted.

I got my first typewriter in second grade, and I've been writing ever since. But my Virgo Dad has no interest in it, and none of the other Virgos I know are writers, either.

In my experience, Virgos love to read, and then discuss what they've read - Dad can talk your ears off about politics when he's in the mood - yet there are quite a few famous Virgo authors.

So, DXP Virgos: Do y'all like to write?

I really think if a virgo puts their mind to it, they can be good at anything really, not just writing. My ex has so many natural abilities it was uncanny, he was just naturally good at anything he picked up.

I write poetry, but I have to be emotionally driven, either in a happy mood or a sad mood, like cybernikes said, I have very short windows or sheer creativity, otherwise I write something that I don't like later

I tend not to be very prolific because most of the things that I write about has been written about throughout history so I tend to feel less original and end up scraping stuff

I think every virgo can write, and it depends on how much confidence they have in they communicative ability, I personally write the raw stuff down but if I was to share it with others then I will have to taylor it otherwise I might get in trouble

Yep, Virgos are good writers. I always made an "A" on written reports in school without even trying. My friends always ask me to proof & spice up their resumes. Lol

I used to write a lot of poetry, but I never thought most of them were good enough.

Like others have stated, these things would happen in short spaces of time when my mood or interest wast tingled. Typically sad times, which I always make an effort to block out eventually.

Strings,

Remember, most of the VirGuys I know are computer guys, and that probably skews the results...

I can't imagine myself not writing - it's so much easier for me to express myself in the written word...

I write poetry on my own a lot.

Doesn't the art love maybe have something to do with where your other planets are (and in what houses... what planet rules art and beauty... Libra?)
