Probably capable of abstract thought. Also Pisces is an analytical sign. They notice details just like pisces do

Mercury in Squishy Fishy eh? Who'd have thunk it?! But, I suppose stranger things have happened; haha.
*Post Edit* - They went all out on those 4,400 charts didn't they!? Pretty nifty.

Not going to lie... I had never really thought about a correlation. 😅😂
I wonder how members here would compare with their charts and those statistics. I also wonder if they're going off their base customary 130/132 or above 🤔.
It'd be interesting to know, but likely unrealistic. That is... unless other people are willing to post their certificate from one of the IQ societies as proof. *shrug*click to expand

My Aqua Mercury wouldn't let you get away with it 😄
Only 1 in 10 people with an IQ above 130-132 join the Mensa. Conversely, 9 in 10 very intelligent people DON'T.
What your "stats" show, is that Pisces Merc or Virgo sun are more prone to join, rather than more intelligent. So why would they join? Someone answered this nicely:
"The first thing you need to know is that no one has a good reason for joining Mensa. Pretty much anyone who tries to join a high-IQ society does so, ultimately, because he or she is an insufferable jerk. Maybe years of bullying for being a mathlete or wearing argyle sweaters well into junior high has given the person an inferiority complex, or maybe he just wants a bumper sticker that lets everyone on I-95 know he’s a genius. Either way, it’s never for noble reasons, however hard someone might pretend otherwise."

You can bullshit pretty well. You would have enjoyed the nerdy social games like D&D.
I’m above all that.![]()
I actually don’t really like playing games all that much. Too tedious. My attention span and focus isn’t that steady so while I can play really well in the beginning by the end I just want it to be over already so I’ll take whatever the shortest path is to losing. 😬
I was a nerd for books but that was about it. I didn’t have much social interaction as a child especially with my peers.click to expand

D&D is great. you can spend years of your life writing simulation rule, encounter tables and making up scenarios without ever playing. And it's great. It comes from a previous time, further up on the intellectual downward slope.
Once you start playing, it becomes social and that's when it becomes dumb and simian.

Given how in the past those kind of people were being ridiculed and bullied like you mentioned, it's no surprise actually that people being treated like this. I doubt they joined it to be snobs. More likely for the community and social interactions they where excluded from unfortunately. Thankfully this isn't the case anymore. "Surprise – Mercury in Pisces! The strongest number against a control group showed Mercury in both its Detriment and Fall in Pisces as the strongest placement for Mercury the Experimental Group – even stronger than being placed in Virgo. Could Mercury in Pisces denote deeper levels of thought?"
"The Sun in Virgo fares well, as do other planets disposed by Mercury: Saturn and Mars in Gemini. The Sun in Virgo could point to analytical thought – as Saturn in Gemini denotes disciplined thought and Mars in Gemini could show aggressive thought. The Moon in Aquarius – an intellectual detachment from emotion, perhaps – also makes a strong showing."

I don't know much about mensa, only what I've read on dxp and googled.
According to this thread....claiming to be in mensa is equal to claiming to be an empath. *shrugs*
