I was taking a long look at my natal chart today and checked just how many planets aspected my Libra ASC. I won’t say I think of myself as unattractive but self-love in regards to appearance is something I have struggled with (and still do). It is quite hard to admit that as a man though lol. There’s always this intense pressure or expectation that Libra Risings MUST be beautiful and I never really felt that way. Just ordinary at best (despite what others might say to me. Honestly, I’ve gotten both ends of the spectrum when it comes to remarks on my appearance in the past. Ironically, the people I find attractive never had anything bad to say and vice-versa for the other side).

The aspect that stuck out to me the most was Saturn opposite my ascendant. I know that usually Saturn slows down the growth of whatever it lands on but there isn’t much information online about this aspect in particular so I don’t know what to expect. I assumed it just meant attractiveness with age. At 22, I don’t feel my face has even changed much since high school (I still get told I look 18 and I hate it) and apparently I’m still growing taller (only an inch so far in the past few months but still) which shouldn’t be possible at my age. There’s also my Capricorn Sun squaring my ASC for even more Saturn. If anyone could provide some insight on this, I’d greatly appreciate it. Natal included below for any needed information. Birth time exact.

Virtually everyone I have come across looks at Astrology in one of two ways...

1. Piece by piece, like a puzzle, where each piece is its own part of a whole.

2. By taking all of the pieces, squishing it all together, in effort to create one general understanding.

The first is usually for people that have chosen not to invest any kind of time into astrology. We all know that type. We see them everyday.

Then there are people that fall into the second group. This one is mostly made up of the visionaries and/or hard workers of the world.

What if I told you there is yet an other way, and a third group of people?

Now... You had asked me what I meant by my initial response. If you really want to know what I meant all you have to do is stop looking at Astrology in one of those two ways, and being one of those two groups of people.
