Should I check up on capricorn guy

Cap guy (aries moon sag venus) I've seen for a few weeks recently called it off and told me about his depression. He said that he really likes me but doesn't want to put me through it. I've told him I'll be here for him whenever and have given him space since. Should I check up on him every fortnight or so? I hardly initiate convo but I'm lowkey worried and want to be there for him but don't want to annoy him. Also lowkey hoping to see him soon.

Sure if you want. Just keep your expectations low and don’t be upset or make it about your feelings if/when he doesn’t respond

I'm a Capricorn woman and I have had some very serious depression. Especially the last year.

For me the worst thing has been being alone! If it wasn't for my 2 close friends calling me to get me out of the house, I would have rotted away even further.

So i would suggest being there for him and being positive and firm but patient and be ready to listen if/when he wants to talk.

Get him out of his mindset by taking him for a long walk through beautiful nature. Don't be afraid to "annoy" him. Annoy him as much as you want! If he starts feeling annoyance, it means that something inside him is kicking back and so he is ready to return to life.

Ummm... A depressed Capricorn is a piece of work. My warning is... Leave all judgements at home while he's like this if you contact him or go see him. He can and will be doing any and everything. You just have to let him do his thing and be supportive of what HE'S doing. Judgement free. That's really the type of person he needs around him. He'll figure it out for himself and just will vent about this or that. If anything, bring a really cool movie he has never seen with some refreshments. That's worked for me on Capricorns many times. If you can't get them out of their heads, either with a nature preserve he hasn't been to or a great movie, leave that cra mug alone... It can be a bit scary seeing a Cap in that state.
