I don't mind, as long as I'm his only addiction! 😄
quite a few aqua males in my life have drug issues too. but i've been around addicts all my life, & ive found that i attract those people in friendship and relationships. i have plenty of them in various signs, but i do have to say...i've known mostly Aqua men also to get involved with them. but then again mostly air signs in general. Gemini...Libras. next would be Taurus and Capricorns too for me.
my most recent Aqua has a lot of drug issues 😢
it breaks my heart to watch him spiral into his own path of self-destruction. he claims he "needs" it & doesn't have a problem. adderall and coke for him.
he's still in my life. i'll always care deeply for him. i just wish he cared more about himself. his drug use stems from bad friends...low self-esteem instilled by his parents...mostly his mother...& to drown out his thoughts and reality.

Theres drug seekers of every sign. Aquas just like to go to rehabs to make a "thing" of it and meet peopleWe all know rehab doesent work for the most part.
Aquas are too ideal and just BS a lot when it comes to quitting or starting things.

I haven't seen an Aqua do the rehab thing at all, water signs are more into it.
Again, the point I'm trying to bring across is finding the reasoning behind the Aqua archetype and the need to use. From an intellectual/inventive standpoint.

Well the sign does not predispose your addiction habits to things, whether you're an Aqua, a Ram, or a Pisces.
I have met really sober Pisces more than the "out of their head" lot, and it disappointed my judgy bitchy stereotype-ridden inner being lol

that's fine. you're entitled to your opinion.
i just described it from my POV. regardless of what i think of his choices...i can only confront him about it, not change him, and i don't give up on my friends. he is NOT a lost cause. at all. so i won't abandon him and treat him like one, because he's not and deserves positive reinforcement for everything he's doing RIGHT such as getting his degree and pursuing new things. THATS what i'm here for, and THATS what i'll stay for. i won't abandon him. that's just not how i operate. in my eyes...cutting people off isn't always the best remedy. that's not the route i choose...or will ever choose to take.
he's about to start school again to get his MBA. im proud of him. just wish he wouldn't do the drugs because he has much more potential within. i think he'll overcome it.

What if youre part Aqua, Ram & Pisces ? Is that a triple threat? Lol I have a bit of an addictive personality . Mostly with healthy living like fitness & health. Not drugs or alcohol . Although when I do drink (which isn't much) I want to keep drinking when I know I should stop, oops lol
Thats interensting I guess, considering scorpio is statistically more people are born under scoprio and sttistically the least are born under aqua.
Mine did coke before I ever knew him, because it calmed him down and let him focus. He quit cold turkey.
He smokes weed regularly for the same reason. He smoked cigarettes also for the same reason, started at 13 and quit cold turkey almost a year ago, at 45.
He grew up with an alcoholic dad, so he's not a drinker.
Gah, my aqua ex drank all the time. Couldn't shake him out of it. I could go on about all the reasons I thought he was fucked up but we all have better things to do. 😛

There are other signs "up there" more than others, don't feel excluded.. But what strikes me, the #1 on the list is not Scorpio, Pisces, or Capricorn. It's Aquarius suns, predominantly male.
I have encountered more DOBs in the Water Bearer season than any other, and frankly it just makes less sense to me for Aquas to be addicts or drug seekers than say water suns.
How did you obtain this information? Why are you sleuthing around the patients personal files tallying up their astrological signs? Or why are you asking clients their personal information to satisfy your occult interests? I have been in the recovery community for 15 years, and I have never heard of a professional bringing their occult interest in clinical environment. You need to be more concern about your unethical un professional behavior than the zodiac signs of the clients. You are the nut here, not Aquarius.

I know an aqua who went to rehab.. it was his parents doing though. He wasn't the one who made a thing about it. His parents just couldn't see him go down that path anymore.
