Air & Water

Just interested in how relationships have worked out for others concerning water signs. I'm currently in what I'd like to call a tango-ship situation with a Scorpio and would like to get other's take on what it's like pursuing, dating, and being in a relationship with any or all water signs. What attracted you to them, what brought you together, and ultimately what ended your relationship (granted if it didn't continue)?

depends if you got as much water as they have air, or some kind of balance in both your charts... but what I know is that water = emotional, and air = logical. Whenever an argument arises, they won't understand each other because they feel different about it. Air people feel a tad detached, and seek for a solution, a cerebral explanation, but they don't really feel it with the intense emotions that a water sign would. It's very tiring trying to explain how you feel to someone who will never feel the same way. That's why it's kind of important that both your charts balance each other's.

My chart is littered with tons of Earth which tends to balance out my airy ways, but also seems to make me rather rigid emotionally (however I feel emotions rather intensely, I just never express them outwardly). The Scorpio I'm interested in has a chart full of water (mostly Scorpio) as well. Would this lend to a possible balance in some way?

Basically perch said! Depending on certain placements maybe consider venus/mars and dominants! The perks of being a air/water combo is I can understand logic but I'm definitely not afraid to get emotional or express it when I need to.

What's it like so far with the scorp? Just looking at his chart do you find him too much to handle so far for your eartly ways? 😛

His venus/mar is Sag-Scorp and I'm a Sag-Cap combo! Actually I am super intrigued to "get under the hood" in terms of his emotional intensity. I am so use to air/fire combos which are waaaaay too much for my earthly ways, so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the watery side of things. I feel like he could probably help me break away from my emotional rigidity and express myself a bit better.

Well my experience with earth-dominant girls is yeah they sure do have feelings but when it comes time to discuss it they just shut off like they want to quantify and justify what that particular feelings is. Also this particular nack at trying to work out the other person out.

He's a water/fire combo and that's probably where the magneticism starts. You could be right too! Too many people think about polar opposites as a bad thing but they do serve as a balance!

Or as I'll put it. This is either going to be orgasmically good or abysmally hopeless! 😛 whichever you decide lol

I certainly have mixed feelings as where this can go, but after being in two back-to-back air/fire relationships that ended in just weird but extremely explosive ways, I'm hoping that I can take what I learned from those and be more emotionally fluid. I think a watery man could definitely help me in that arena. Not looking for a "forever" sort of deal, just a new way of approaching relationships and emotions. I guess at the moment I would rather drown than be burned with emotions. lol

I understand what you mean, definitely concerning Scorpios as they play for keeps. I get this about the sign and I am not taking this fact lightly. When I express that I am not looking for a "forever" sort of deal, I simply mean I am not going in with expectations; I'm being adaptable. I get that we might not even make it to the relationship aspect so I am taking things with him day by day without the expectation that he will commit to me or even want to.

if they test they do so because they are usually CHASED after like crazy anf all these women are magnetized to them like flies to honey. I would assume so long as I am consistent and say what I mean and mean what I say he will see that I'm not there to play or take advantage of him. I'm typically really laid-back, especially when people mess with me so I'm not sure how that would come off to him if he is testing me.

Still waters run deep I believe is the saying. I'm laid-back for a reason and that's because I am a VERY emotionally intense individual. I learned rather quick that being so emotionally volatile gets me nowhere and certainly doesn't achieve anything other than massive damage to others and myself. At the same time, I am extremely interested in figuring people out on a psychological level; I NEED to understand why people do the things they do, how they do them, and what they are trying to accomplish. Nothing nonchalant or uncaring about it. In fact, I've been told I care too much.

Maybe because I have an overly stacked 8th house is why I'm just trying to get as much information as I can in regards to him. I feel as if being linked to him will provide some sort of tranformative benefit to my emotional expression and being...if that makes any sense.

but it doesn't work like that. As if you're going to "use" him. If you don't feel it for him, then you don't. honestly, it doesn't really matter in the whole scheme of things if you have stacked 8th house. Trying to say what you said above, "to get transformation" it's as if you can't do it yourself and have found out via astrology that this certain guy will do it. If you don't LOVE him, then what's the use— you're just another girl out there. who you are attracted to, is usually your sun/mars combo with your rising. (Cafeastrology and other sites repeats this) You need mental stimulation (your rising/sun) plus you have a virgo moon. Your emotional needs will want someone who will mentally stimulate you I guess. Virgo similar to Gemini by mercury. Your Cap mars needs a man with responsibility and stability. the aqua part of you wants quirky i guess.

i dated a scorpio...not only suns but scorpio moons also. i am also a scorpio mooner so i can relate

pursuing= you my dear, dont pursue. you let them pursue you...they like the challenge. they dont like it when its easy..sure they will still take them easy, but the better prize is the one they can win. dont act like you dont care too much, you gotta throw the dog a bone every once in a while. in other words, show you are interested back

dating/ courtship= the beginning stage is always amazing. they are definately romantics..you may also want to look at their venus sign. but let me just say this... they give you a TASTE of what its like...this goes away, because once you have crossed that line with them...the games and testing begin

in a relationship= you will get tested the fuck out of them. i know i said mind games before..because thats how it feels like...a mind fuuuck. in but in reality, they just want to see if they can trust you..i mean really trust you..because when a scorpio gives you that trust..its not only a key to his heart...but his soul. once you have passed the test, you will start to become the center of his world. their love is all consuming.

their will still be rough patches in the relationship, but you will find yourself a loyal and faithful partner once you get a scorpio to truly love you.

Hey xdimplez, what was your experience like with dating scorpio mooners like yourself? And was it with other Air sun signs?

I'm also currently seeing someone with a scorpio moon (and I am one as well), and he's an Aqua sun.. I've heard a ton of people tell me that I'm super unpredictable and hard to figure out at times, but this may actually be the first time I've met someone I am actually saying the same about! I'm curious as to how this combination goes, since he seems to be very serious about me and expresses that verbally (like saying he wants to be with me for the rest of his life..! WOW...) but somehow lately the past couple weeks I could suddenly "feel" a difference.. like something was suddenly off and he wasn't really talking to me as much or perhaps even the same way either.
