Aqua / Libra: Friends?

I've got a handful of nice aquarius ladies as friends. Trouble is, well, we don't really get along so well.

With one, terrible coincidences happen all the time...bad things, like getting thrown up on together. We've tried to hang out several times, but have given up now because of it. But also, we don't have a lot to say to one another.

Same with the other aqua friend, just not a lot between us, not a lot of understand or communication.

What's the deal? This is not at all my experience with aqua men!

Well, most of my friends are men. So Im guessing we do better as friends with the opposite sex perhaps. I usually just dont have much to say to women, there usually much too temperamental for me to be my true care free self.


As for libras, my good friend (MALE) is a libra. We dont get along perfectly but we definitely have a bond that cant be broken. We constantly argue, lol. I call him selfish, self-centerd, and shallow; he calls me hateful and angry.

Most masculine sign women I know have mostly guy friends.

For masculine sign women to hang out...sometimes it works better with switched elements.

It fun with the same element and you speak the same language but sometimes, it's like talking to yourself...same element also knows your cards - you know the same one you use to play others, w00t? everyone has cards!! lol - so only room for one masculine sign female because they're still females, you get intelligent emotional pissing contests... true story 😕
switch it to male and female >>> the emotional angle goes...

From experience, I think Scorp and Aqua get along as friends but for relationships, they soon discover what they considered mysterious has very very different deffinitions

sometimes it works better with switched elements.

It is definitely fun with the same element and sooo true zen, we do speak the same language. I see it with all my air sign friends, ftmp. Especially my little aqua sis. I just smile to myself every time we're having weird conversations and she's holding her own in the exchange. I love it.

As for switched elements and same genders, you could have a point there. I've become good friends with another aqua girl lately, but I still cant seem to mesh. Partly its my apprehension to female friends though, Im sure. I've been jaded ever since middle school (the worst years in any persons life).

The only true female friend I've had has been my leo bff. She has a strong personality, I take the chill role in the friendship. Im always the opposite personality of those that surround me, for some reason.

Hmm don't have many very close Leos or Aries, we speak the same language but...erm, something always kinda happens, then I become apprehensive like you say...there's usually always room for one of the same kind of same sex elements otherwise, what're you really learning from each other? I have to say same sign/element really does teach you how annoying others find you ? lol. Sags and Gems I don't mind?they're so accepting 🙂

I think Fire is more of emotional Air ? they react before thinking?Air thinks before reacting, so Fire brings out more expression/reaction from Air, and Air brings out less reaction, engages Fire thinking faculty?

This can be done without both elements getting bitter, harsh, pulling disappearing acts or royally pissed off.

Middle school is around 10-13 yrs old. Puberty and such.

I went straight to HS from elementary school, imagine being the smallest person in a hallway of giants-good times. As a Aries sun with Libra moon, I have a blast with all my fire sign friends (saggies) but there is always a limit to our fun and its not always consistent. Now I live with water friends (mostly pisces) and they seem to balance me quite well. In fact my closest friends are Pisces women. I do however have a lot of Scorpio in my chart.

That's kind of the vibe I get from the Aqua ladies...they seem uncomfortable around me, which in turn makes me a bit uncomfortable too.

But I agree, that air/air conversations (when they can take place) are incredibly fun. Just a couple weekends ago I met an aqua man and it was like you could see the breeze blowing back and forth between us as we got to know each other. He's just a friend btw...met him briefly.

Well from my understanding, Libras in relationships and Libras in friendships are 2 different things. I think the "loving" and "ride or die" side of Libras is what allows for the good compatibility in relationships between Libras & Aquarians. But as far as friendship goes, Libras & Aquarians tend to find themselves always "falling out" or having their differences. Aquarians love the intellectual, warm, loving & "the love for love" attitude during relationships that Libras bring out of themselves. But in friendships, Libras tend to be more show-offs, a little bit more cocky, a little bit unreliable & a little bit emotionally unsure of alot of things & all of these things will aggrivate an Aqua very quickly.
As an Aqua I tend to fall out with my Libra friends the most because they can almost have a naive spirit when it comes to always being a people pleaser & since we are humanitarians BUT also more realistic, we tend to find ourselves getting tired of playing "mommy" or "teacher" for Libras. When Libras enter into bad relationships or friendships with others, we are more skeptical of their friendships because we have a very good ability to see things clearly from the outside looking in. But when it's US involved with a Libra & their "I just can't let go" phases, it's alot easier for us to cling to them because we share the same emotions & actions when in relationships

Libras and Aquas---friends or lovers make excellent partners. My best friend--complete opposite of me is a Libra. She and I are b/f's over 25 years now. It floors me to no end how we are literally completely opposite but are hopeless without each other (we do have a lot of things in common but within the big picture we are opposites). I have dated many male Libra's---and for me, they are the most reasonable (like my best friend). Outside of the Gemini's, Libras for female Aquarians--the Libra remains in my opinion--the ideal match. Gemini's are two faced and sexually and socially the best match for Aqua's but they are NEVER to be trusted because their agenda is for themselves and they ostentacious.

Thats my two cents. well okay, three cents.

I'll probably be friends with my libra forever. He's the clingy type anyway (cancer moon and all).
