aqua saying i love you but ran away?

the aqua guy ive been seeing for over a year (we flirt and talk about lots of things, its mainly online/long distance as we travel alot and hes made hints that he liked me before) but he usually ignores me on and off, so i messaged him and he ignored me then two weeks later i wished him happy bday and he texted me saying "i love you (my name)" and that he had a good day?? but now hes ignoring me again after a brief conversation??

Probably just processing. Those are big words for an aquarius. Just keep acting normal.

Could be too that he expected to hear it back. If he didn't, he could be feeling extremely vulnerable and therefore avoiding.

@Op-Aww so young too... Those are just words though.. You have have both and actually put the work into a friendship to build something solid later. Should take no longer than 6 months-5 years haha now to know...

Opps typo..You have to do and say both and actually have to match that. Start out as friends, communicate, and have goals other than a guy in mind too.

we've been friends/flirting phases for over a year, and i did say it back and replied to his other messages because he said i love you then asked how i was, so i said i loved him too and that i was good and asked how he was and we briefly talked then he saw my messages and hasnt replied since and its been about 5 days

im 18 and he just turned 19, he's never kissed or had any relationship with a girl
