Aquarius discouraging individuality?

My Aquarius mom is literally telling her young Aquarius son to stop being himself right now. I'm kinda disgusted with her right now because my brother is like the most unique character and he's hilarious and she's telling him to stop, like, why? She's telling him to ''grow up''. What is wrong with this lady? I do find it sorta shocking that my mom is an Aquarius and she's kinda ''bland'' so I'm guessing someone did the same to her when she was younger.

Aquarians are unique people,
to the point that they are called
weird and ridiculed for the way
they see, think, and feel.

maybe your mother, being an
aqua as well, has gone thru
these experiences where she
too was judged and tormented
for just being herself.

maybe she recalls the pain and
does not want her son to go thru
the same things. so she tells him
not to be himself. no mother wants
her kids to go thru the same things
that she has suffered.

Yeah, that's what I figured.
