You call it rude, we call it speaking our mind. If you need sugarcoating find a Libra.
Very true but you can speak your mind without an attitude. I love directness and honesty but an attitude along with it... just no -_-. That's rude.

Attitude is dependent on perception. Some people's style of speaking is perceived as giving attitude meanwhile there is no attitude coming from them. When I speak firmly about something, people perceive it as arrogance or that I'm giving attitude but all I'm really doing is speaking firmly because I believe in my topic so passionately.

I agree with Implusv and Aquamermaid. I am pretty direct but I do try to be courteous of others feelings. However, that being said no matter how polite you may try to be some people will still not like what you say even if you were nice about it and they'll still call you rude.

I personally feel most Aquas aren't rude but to some it may seem that way because of how the other person interprets what you/we say. When you're not the overly sensitive type you may not realize that how you are saying something may actually be a bit too abrasive for the other person.

I think more than anything it's just a difference in communication styles. In other words if it comes across as rude more likely than not it wasn't intentional.
