In my perspective, family is just a group of people that is related to you but a lover is someone that is going to share weal & woe with you.If a woman has earned my respect & admiration so much that i had the urge to go all the way for for her, then she will be someone i am confident to share my life with. Even if my family objects, i will still pursue & fight for my love 🙂

Unfortunately for me, my family has never provided me warmth & because of this prediction of bad familial relationship on my natal chart that got me interested in astrology. But God is really fair to me, my parents are indifferent to my needs as well as my siblings but God has given me someone else that now i treat like my 2nd mother. One of my aspects predicted this outcome, i guess its my sun square pluto & my family is my greatest regret in life but i have never blamed them, its just the core truth that there isnt any warmth existed within the family. If not for that 2nd mother, i would have turned out cold & selfish.
Because of this, i truly cherish & want to really build a warm family with someone i love. But its like what aquamermaid said, there's no guarantee that the other may stick with me through thick & thin.

Although my Aquarius cousin who married in a different ethnicity had to fight with his parents to marry his Capricorn wife. They didn't approve of her and he was hell bent upon marrying her. There was so much drama we all witnessed. Eventually they accepted her.My mother was so furious with his tantrums and she never accepted his Cappy wife and even told my aunt so that her daughter-in-law is not fit for our family smh @ my Scorpy mum's bluntness. My hubby won my family over, I had no doubts because he's family oriented,committed and serious.
i dont like families that don't accept their children's choices. i mean i probably won't like my son's choices in life, (i'm pretty sure i'm also too picky for him) but at the end of the day, it IS HIS choice and his choice and he is the one that will live with his beloved, not me. I should welcome her with open arms.

Many members of my family and I don't share some of the most core beliefs so I've always made my own way. It's definitely easier if everyone likes each other and gets along, but I live 900mi away from them, I'm a grown ass woman and I'll do what I want. Hell, I thought my mom was gonna disown me when I married an Englishmen. "Your grandma's rolling over in her grave!". I don't have time for their prejudices.

the more you understand, the more it's easy to see how love is too strong in family and if someone from the family turns out what you didnt want them to be or expected, you still love them no matter what, because that's your baby, or that's your sister, your brother,that's your family. You try the hardest you can to raise them right, and to teach them morals, too. How to treat others, and even if you have sisters/brotehrs, how you treat eachother.
Maybe that's why the infracture of family is failing in alot of places. I dont see it alot in Europe though, family is strong here,but of course there are those who don't have a strong family connection.
i just hear it alot in the U.S., or maybe alot in the East coast cities, and not so much in Asian countries.
but i dont know, just thinking out loud about how family connection is weak in many ways.
Fighter. I fight to push through obstacles and issues that most people would just up and dump their lover over. Except for infidelity. Always a deal breaker.

well, it is not necessary that they approve. but it would be better for all parties if they had peace with his decision. or could see his happiness whenever he has some.

I do both. I try a soft fight and hope to find signs in my lover that I think will convince my family one day. If I don't see any signs in my lover then I give up on him. This happened to my first love.
PS: In the tests I choose : love should flow easily. otherwise it is (for me) a challenge or obsession. or accompanied with bad luck. I know I could be wrong. Maybe I think nothing is a big deal in life. which could mean that I am not a fighter.

I am absolutely drawn towards an ambitious man.
