Very true. In school you don't learn the real world and the harsh reality. That is what is needed in today's society. Nowadays it's always a quick fix and everything has to be done right now even if the time isn't right. We do have to take a step back and regroup so we don't make the wrong choices.
No, it seems jamming everything else but what really matters (like life) is far less important in the schools. I think it has to do with that schools feel the parents should teach their kids about life but it's in school we begin to learn about real life. Therefore school should take some responsibility in teaching the young ones of today so they are able to deal with life in general.
