Gemini understands me better and I have better relations with them. Libras can annoy me sometimes and our relationships never get deep or too involved. I can have deeper conversations with Gemini and find them more attractive overall as well.
😢 Leebs get no love haha I see what you folks mean, though. I do believe that I'm capable of deep communication and connection, though. Wholeheartedly. It could be due to other placements, but Libra gets a lot of flack for being 'superficial' or 'shallow'. I'm not at all. I could see Gems and Aquas understanding each other's detachment and desire of freedom. But most Gems I meet seem like they could either manipulate you or totally fuck you over. So hmm...

Me and Geminis get along great and just like someone else mentioned they understand me better. I've dated Geminis before but never dated a Libra. However my best friend is a Libra sun male but most of his chart has Scorpio placements and he's a Leo rising and I get along great with those two signs.
I like Libras but the females are hit or miss. Every female friend who has ever backstabbed me or female that seemed to hate on me (with the exception of 2 Sag chicks) was a Libra sun female. I actually have 3 planets in Libra (Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto) and Libra in my 8th house.
I can get along great with both despite the hit or miss with Libra Sun females. In fact my parents are these two signs, my mom is a Gemini and my dad a Libra Scorpio cusper but born under Libra Sun.

People have right to mention their choice when you have created a topic like this where you have asked its libra or a gemini.
Why would you mind if they say its gemini?
You have said librans to be fair and agreeable. But if you are a libra, you are not showing that quality. We are not just our sun sign or moon sign. We have so many signs in our chart. We all are mixtures of those signs present in our chart. You are not 'just a libra'. So you should not mind if people don't say that they prefer libra. I was reading other topics in dxp and i found this topic interesting.

And I also have a couple Gemini placements that I am thankful to have. You should notice in my response that I was saying "haha" and "I see what you mean." to their responses. "Most Gems" was too much of a blanket comment, yes. But it was not meant to say all Geminis, it was just the ones I've met. Except for my friends. I can speak on my experiences.

Tbh, its a close one between Leebs and Gems.
I love both actually. My three most influential people in life have been Gems (granny, best friend and gf). Librans are just as good. For a more deeper understanding, I have seen that Librans read me very well. Gems on the other hand come to me and make me remember them for a long long time. Their nature of being all over the place actually makes me adore them for some reason. They in turn can genuinely make me smile and make awesome friends. 🙂
Close one, real close one. Probably, Gems just about win because they come to my life in numbers and I love each one I have met so far. 🙂
i have relatives of both signs, they're allright. and i've never been close to any of them as friends, but i've been best friends with a libra moon, but she had alot of Scorpio and an earthy mars. and currently know an aqua sun with a libra moon. I personally dont like clingy, and that feeling of clingyness i get sometimes; it feels suffocating. My husband is dominant water but he's NOT clingy. i dont know why. my gf, the Scorpio sun with lots of Scorpio and with libra moon, when i look back, she was very clingy but i didnt mind at all, she was my best friend.

I actually agree with this. My ex bff was a libra sun cancer moon. I think if the sun has a major conflict like hers it can cause the libra to take that comparing thing to extremes. We have a tendency to weigh people's qualities against others. If there's major insecurities there it can cause the libra to compare others against THEMSELVES. Then you see envy and jealousy. It's a really ugly thing to experience.
After 16 yrs I had to let go of my friend. Her hating was getting worse and worse. I just got tired of the attacks after awhile. It sucks though because she's a good person who I was super close to for a long time.
The only other females I've seen do this with me are scorp females. Hit or miss with them too.

I have actually witnessed this myself as well. I know a Libra sun, I don't know her moon but I can find out. Anyway, she's friends with my Pisces sister and I seriously do not trust her. She does the comparing thing constantly, and she always has a negative thing to say about someone else. She envied my Aqua friend's relationship and actually got with the Aqua's ex right after they broke-up and the Aqua was pregnant with the guy's baby. Mind you, the Libra was trying to buddy up to the Aqua prior to bedding her man right after the break-up, so fucked. I still don't get how the Libra doesn't see how cruel that was. And now my poor Aqua friend is shattered and raising the baby
single. Granted, the dad is in the picture but the whole thing was just so conniving from the beginning. I'm not saying all Leeb suns do this, trust me. But it was similar behavior to what you mentioned, I think. I'm thankful to be an Aries sun with a Libra moon, I think it's a better placement. I felt so protective of my Aqua friend, it's honestly painful when I have to be cordial with the Libra sun. She's still my Pisces sister's friend, so I have to deal with her. Ughh.

there is a difference between "clingy" and "possessive" though.
taurus venus is possessive, but i dont think it's "clingy"
clingy is more or less, a way of wanting to do everything with the person, as if the other indiviudal has NO interests or life of their own.

That's very true. When you have the air placements that I do as well as an Aries sun, you'll be pretty busy and active a lot. Whether it's within my mind or an activity, I require ME time and to remain busy. So clingy is not my thing. I'm possessive. I'm often seen saying 'my people' about my friends lol my Venus in Taurus is possessive and protective of my lover that I choose as well as friends -- there is a difference and I get annoyed when I'm dating someone who doesn't have much of a life and I'm their only interest. Come on, dude lol I felt badly about it but I had to dump my Pisces sun ex because of this. His life was just me, and it didn't mold well. I tried to make it work, due to the bull's stubborn stance in romance. But I wasn't in love with him, my Gem Mars rushed me into the exciting attention and affection. I'm not sure if I can say that's the culprit. But I do notice my Mas rushing me a bit when I'm enthusiastic about something or someone new. And always before my Venus is ready; there's conflict.

actually my pisces ex husband wasn't clingy at all. he was INDEPENDENT and too much too much independent, (cause he wanted to go off and do secret stuff) but he was dominant fire so that's a huge reason why he's independent.
i can't stand it if someone isn't independent of their own life too. i'm gonna get upset!!! lol
i just won't even be around that person.
anyway, the universe knows exactly what we like so it's no problem. 🙂

Oh the fire dominance probably had a lot to do with it; my Pisces ex was Pisces dominant lol he was a wonderfully sweet and caring person, but didn't have enough gumption for me. We're better as friends.
Yeah, it can get really frustrating; especially with him, he would not stop texting and calling me all day. I would be at work and he'd be sitting at home idly. So he'd get upset when I wasn't responding consistently. I felt suffocated lol

Yes the Libra sun practically made it her mission to bond with the Aqua sun. I'm not sure if it was strategic as I think it to be, but this woman barely gave it any thought before she pounced.
I totally understand if they don't know each other, then sure. But this was between friends and it just felt wrong to me.

I am glad that she's not stuck in that toxic relationship, but I still firmly believe that what the Libra sun did was self-centered and disloyal. That may be my Taurus Venus talking lol but don't pretend to be someone's best buddy when you know you have eyes for their man, and swoop in the moment they end things. Especially when a child is involved. That did not and still does not sit well with me.

i know personally three libra suns who partnered with a Fire sun, and two Water suns. and they're happy.

It probably isn't her Libra sun, I've met a lot of Libras I like. But it really comes down to the chart. And I don't know hers. But yeah they were actually dating before the guy told the Aqua sun that they were really done, come to think of it. All while the Aqua sun was in another state taking care of her dying father. So it was a sad mess and I just constantly find myself wanting to protect the Aqua. I felt so bad, that's all 😢

I'm just curious because I've been discussing this a bit with two lovely Aquas on this forum 🙂 and I'm just curious about the general consensus -- I have two Libra placements, my moon dictating a large part of my personality; much more than my sun. I have two Gem placements as well lol so with me, you get a sweet, agreeable and fair Libra with the hot temper of a Gemini considering it's my mars. 😛 Crazy mix, anyway, off on an airy tangent! 😛
