I’m a libra and I don’t get along with aquas. Our friendships are usually short lived. I have a Leo moon so I’m not sure if that adds to the fire but we don’t get along

Best not to dwell on it. You're probably never going to get the answer you're looking for.
It's not a matter of preference it's just how it goes sometimes. I'd say venus in pisces can be quite blind sometimes and they just enjoy and get caught up in the moment sometimes. I'll be the first to admit it. No matter how you want to view it he did use you whether he intended to or not.
So you know, thanks for the experience, move on. At the end of the day family will always come first and maybe he just doesn't see you fitting in the picture.
