Does he think I hate him?

Just curious as to how you can tell (outside of asking) if they assume you dislike them?

How can you tell if someone is assuming you don't like them? What?

I understand the concept of them being busy, distracted, worried so I've learned to give them their space.

But I guess it seems like the more I give them their space, the more they take space becuase they think its what I want, but if anyone else shows up its "Entertainment Mode".

Plus I went to get something to eat in the other room with this new friend I made and I know he was hungry but did he want to join us while we ate. Nope he sat by his lonesome and ate and even passed by to throw away his plate. Say anything? Nope.

I even waved hello when I ran into him and did he say nothing NOPE, he just looked.

I'm referring to basic human communication. The fucker has spoken to everyone in the god damn room even people he hates completely.

But yet am I giving off some (LEAVE ME ALONE) sign— I read somewhere that they act based on how you act, but I was only giving him space becuase he was acting like he wanted space, but not its like he's purposely not saying shit cause that's what I want?

Yet yesterday even though i was bedridden from being sick, a mutual friend told me when she called me that he was surprised and grateful I was able to come through for him on something I offered to help out with (I guess he assumed I wouldn't be able to since I was sick and etc. and that he was so happy.)

So obviously I don't hate him so what the fakk is with this ignoring, i want space shit LOL

I do " keep myself busy" but it seems to make it worse.

I barely get to speak much to him compared to most ppl. Him being "nearby " Doesbt make up for lack of communication.

Thought they thrived on communication.

I guess what bothers me is we went from clicking so well to him being distant then us arguing a lot.

I guess he assumes I'm this quiet/anti social chick with an attitude and a chip on her shoulder when that's not true.

I'm just a shy chick finally met someone who liked her quirks to only feel like I'm such a leper and I just don't know why he seems to find it easy to approach everyone and tries to impress them with humorbut seems to approach me only if he has something but I'd like to be impressed as well.

It's just so disappointing

I did what we are told not to and I asked if he was doing ok cause he's been unusually quiet around me for days not with everyone but moreso me. Not sure why it's just me but the fact it's just me is annoying.

So yesterday he was keepin to himself and all serious and I was heading home it went like this:

Me: ( quietly) alright I'm leaving I'll see ya on "xyzzzz"

Him: (not looking up from his phone). Ok bye.

Me: you ok btw?

Him: (stops immediately and looks at me) yeah why?

Me: (shrugs) idk you've seemed off these past few days with the not talking and such

Him: (goes back to looking at phone) hmm. Just focusing stuff right Now.

Me: ah overwhelmed? If you ever need any help, I'm here.

Him: I'll probably have time to talk later.

Me: okay. I gotta get going but yeah I should be around later.

Him: ok
