i don't believe it. aquarians can't love. as you said, you were drifting in and out of consciousness, so you must have misheard. in fact it probably wasn't even really him, and he had one of his friends call you to ask if you had seen his dirty sock.

I don't think he'd forget...though I better hold on to it because it'll probably be another 5 yrs before I get another one...and he's not the type to say something he doesn't mean
