Of maternity leave that is. I have been putting this off for a month but today is the day. I tried to go to work but my boss came down and escorted me out of the building. 😒

He told security not to let me in until my maternity leave is over. I forgot the date, I think its in December. Now I am bored out of my mind!!!

I called my libra husband twice and asked could I come to his job. Maybe help him with something...he said, "ummmm NO!" totally hurt my feelings. 😒

The baby's room is ready. He put all of the furniture together last month and all of her little drawers and closet is all organized. Ugh!

I cant take this! OMG!

I'm so excited!!!!! The baby is almost here!!!!

Sleep!! Lots and lots of sleep!! Stock up on it! Do anything for you that you can. Pamper yourself. I promise, you won't have the time or the energy when the baby gets here.

How did you decorate the nursery?

I'm not a mother, but I do know this from observation that moments leading up to motherhood and from there on is one of the most instrumental and precious moments in a woman's life. Enjoy it! This is where you make lifelong worthy memories because there is no connection nor relationship out there that's like mother and child.

I can't wait to be a mom one day. I'm very happy that you are experiencing that, my aqua sister.

I copied the idea that I found on the web. But with a few changes. Like I added the fuzzy rug and pillow. Also, To buy everything in this room would have cost us over $ 4000. I refurbished everything. I made the curtains (sorry you can see the dog cages out the window LOL) I made the bedding. We painted the bed. I reupholstered the chair and ottoman. I would say that the most expensive thing in this room is the wall paper. And that is with us putting it up ourselves. 😐

In all we paid $ 1500 that includes her baby clothes.

Looks cute! I had no idea how to decorate my daughters room πŸ˜› but it ended up very similar and now she's stealing my stuff to put in there. Geek runs in the family but rather than solving the rubix cubes shes stolen she's managed to take them all apart.

I love your nursery it's beautiful. That's a great idea to make everything yourself. I've done that with costumes and I want to do that with furniture, too. Definitely, get plenty of rest because once the baby is finally here it's all about her. :-)

I personally feel us aquas make wonderful mothers.

You are adorable haha. Oh my goodness, that is definitely a room fit for a princess! It's beautiful.

When I had to go on maternity leave, I pampered myself. πŸ˜› Once it gets closer to the due date, I was told to prep some meals you could freeze and reheat because when baby comes, cooking will be one of the last things you want to do. Hmmm, you could make some homemade baby wipes, lotions, bath soaps and oils for baby. πŸ™‚ There are tons of organic and safe recipes out there and since you enjoy doing that, it might be fun πŸ™‚

Hi πŸ™‚
I didnt think about the meals, that would be a fantastic idea. i made some baby soaps but I can add all of that other stuff too. I dont want my lab to get cob webs everywhere. πŸ™‚ So I will do that. I had to snap out it I guess. My emotions on overdrive. Thank you so much for the suggestions πŸ™‚

OMGerd!!! That baby has a master suite nursery! It's beautiful! Perfect for a libra lady in the making πŸ™‚ I'm so excited for you guys!

Agreed with PISCO! Make some baby shampoo bars, conditioners, body butters (for yourself too). There are so many formulas online for homemade goodies. Or you could take up a new hobby. Learn to crotchet a baby blanket or make candles (that's what I do), tons of stuff you can learn to do with your free time that's fun but also relaxing.

thank you Sugarfoot πŸ˜„ ...I just made my hubby some soap that I made for him a month ago. He loves it. I'm going to make some stuff tomorrow for the baby. Oh I already crocheted a blanket, but my mom has it because i couldn't figure out how to do the trim. I will take a pic of that when I get it back.
