Opt for non-alcoholic beverages like sparkling water, mocktails, or herbal teas that are easy to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed. These drinks are flavorful and satisfying, making them suitable for social outings without involving alcohol. Choose drinks that you feel comfortable with to stay true to your preference and avoid any discomfort.
shirley temples. π
Well he's a virgo and I'm a cappy -- we all know how that works π ... so if he gets friendly ... she I beat him with my shoeββ
A glass of wine would be good to drink--it's not too strong.
What kind of wine π
Bring your own car and limit your drinking.
But Prime, I don't drink so how do I know when enough is enough β I want to bring my own car but I'm afraid I'll get lost. However, you are right, if that idoits going to be drinking then its best that I do that.
long island iced tea is goooood, so are bahama mamas and mudslides, hehehe. if you're going to drink, you should consider malt beverages as they have a lower alcohol content, and i agree with aguaaqi if wine is your thing.
Oops, okay ... haha, I feel like such a baby. I don't even no what to wear to a bar π
Yeah, I need cheap stuff! Man, why do people even bother drinking ... makes youf feel lousy in the morning, doesn't it?
"makes youf feel lousy in the morning, doesn't it?"
that's if you drink too much.
cappysweetie, just dress like you normally do.
you can get into bars at 18. at least in NY.
and i don't want to stereotype, but i'm in college.
Okay, I need to do some research on some of these drinks then π We are leaving arounf 7:00 p.m. EST
I like to be in control of myself, thats why I don't drink π
Long Island Ice Tea or Sky Vodka are my favorites. Drink that. I also must mention that I am also a non-drinker.
Yea!!!!! B is the winner! Yep, sounds good to me π
"Well, wheels, you aren't suppose to be drinking"
really? i had no idea.
the age limit is stupid. if you disagree, then you are too. jk.
heineken. np.
heineken is a strong beer. i have trouble drinking any beer but light beers. except bud, bud is alright.
cause you're a manly man? π
"I have some fermenting tripples in storage, they started out at 11 and 12% , they should be up to 15% by now. Those will give a nice buzz."
i bet...
i just got a big ole bottle of bailey's irish cream for my bday. i can drink it straight. i think that's actually not a good thing. they gave it to me in a brown paper bag...maybe that's supposed to be some kind of sign for me.
when i say straight, i mean like water.
"No, because it is the only beer that has a great taste to me."
ok, that is a much better reason.
wow, now vodka, there's something i could never drink straight. i can do ok with rum, but vodka leaves a sensation that i just drank rubbing alcohol in the back of my throat. it makes my eyes water if i drink a shot of it too slow. i learned a trick though, which is to close off your nasal cavity when drinking something absolutely disgusting and that makes it a lot easier.
hmm...posting on this thread i'm realizing i'm kind of a veteran drinker these days...alcohol still hits me fast though. that's something that hasn't changed.
the difference is that i used to make an ass out of myself, and now i can handle it better, but i still feel the same. i'm usually buzzed after one drink.
does that mean smoke pot and drink? or is it a game, or do you mean beer pong?
oh, a beer bong. derr. actually i have never done that. i've chugged it through a funnel though, and at my party there was a nice contraption that had a funnel with two tubes coming out the bottom, and each tube had a spigot so you could compete against someone to see who could chug faster, and turn it off if you couldn't handle it. π
that thing was awesome, hehehe.
those first 2 games would definitely make me choke. no question. they seem like the kind of thing you have to practice at...maybe that's the point.
i've never played quarters. i think you explained it to me once, but i forget how it's played. strip quarters, hmmm!
the drinking games i've played are limited to fotch, kings, flip cup (hard!), beer pong, and asshole, but asshole was so long ago i don't even remember how. that's it. the people i usually party with don't require much aid getting there. π
lol!
i've been to places that take pong VERY seriously too and you have to know their rules before you even consider joining a tournament. i went to this place and they had a huge poster on the wall with their beer pong rules, and one of them involved making a naked lap around the house for the losing team, they weren't kidding. i was like, ok, if i was a pong pro i would definitely do it but as i have a fairly good chance of losing...π
apparently that rule isn't all that uncommon either.
when i said it was strong, i was referring to taste.
a couple of drinks won't do any harm. just drink slowly and stop as soon as you start feeling the slightest bit fuzzy. n unless ur prepared to spend the night at his place, I suggest u both go in different cars.
THANK SO MUCH TO EVERYONE FOR TELLING ME ABOUT THE DIFFERENT DRINKS. I would've been a complete idoit had I not have known. Last friday was pretty crazy ...

I'm going out with a co-worker of mine and a my supervisor this evening. We are going to eat at some resturant and we are going to comedy club.
Now here's the problem, my coworker (who is a virgo) wants me to stay out and have a drinks with him at the bar after the club. Am I alittle afraid ... um, yeah -- only because he said I can leave my car at work and I can ride with him
Since he's staying out late, I don't know i I'm confortable with that.
Reasons:
1. He will be drinking and he wants to drive too
2. He has a girlfriend and he gets a bit friendly when drunk
3. I really don't want to drink -- I don't drink at all actaully at the moment ...
So if I decide to stay out, what do I drink π What a mind kind of drink that only nondrinkers can hold down without throwing up?
