I was the quiet girl

I only spoke to those I felt comfortable with, and I was faithful when it came to in-class assignments. LOL, I always listened when the teacher was talking because I never wanted to miss anything. Yes, I was late to class a few tims but only because certain People would catch me in the hallway and start chatting two minutes before class started -- but I would enter the classroom quietly 😄

Never was a big fan of the in-crowd -- mainly because I didn't like how they treated other students and how they felt anyone who didn't fit-in with them was inferior. I prefered to hang out with everyone, not just a particular group -- ewww! the "in-crowd" was probably the group I didn't venture off with.

However, I enjoyed the students who were more into computers, technology and other alternative things -- yeppers, I was a nerd/ geek/dork and darn proud of it 😉

Well, I was both the cool kid AND the nerd.

I was way more intellegent then my friends, so my classes had me with the geeks (which I grew to find that they are EXTREMELY interesting) but I also had that cool guy swagger, u know...good in sports, girls chasing me, always dressed to impress, and fellas like to chill with me.

Honestly, I was a bully also. I loved to pick on the dude that thought he was the "Big and Bad" guy. I never liked people who thought they were tougher than me, so I always found myself in conflict with them (But really, I'm a nice guy).

Middle school was the greatest moment in my life...a lot of "firsts" happened then with experiences I wish I could go through now! Through high school, I finally "found" myself, and realized that I could do SOO much better than those around me, and beat the expectation that "people like me" wouldn't get anywhere but nowhere.

I was the maverick and leader of my own little band of rebels and outcasts all through school. I was a little popular, but became more popular during my junior year. In Junior Highschool the two hottest chicks in my class were hitting on me despite my small amount of popularity, maybe because I didn't act like an ass like the rest of the kids. I hated junior high.

Hey BigD56, you look rather familiar. Do you live in Cincinnati? Does your name happen to be Matt?

Yes honors makes a difference. It a combination of it all, SAT scores, determine whether or not you are a fasle negative or a false positive. Colleges have quotas to fill, they are choosing the ones who are least likely to drop out of school (M.I.A.M.I. "money is a major issue"). SAT scores are supposed to be the determining factor. Every school has a diff. cut off point for scores. The higher the score the less likely you are to drop out.

Oh man, peaches, you sure do know how to bring the hurt....lol🙂.I was a weird nerdy little ol' thing. I was so nerdy and w/ a strong love of school, i begged for extra courses even though that meant i had to stay an extra hour or 2. Everybody who was anybody got on me (teathers, parents, students, etc). I was voted "Most Awkward", a title that im strangly proud of.

Now, i reminisce back and chuckle.
