Aries and Depression

Is depression common in Aries? People tend to see Aries as mostly happy-go-lucky, naively optimistic, and if they associate a negative emotion with Aries, it’s typically anger or brashness.

Yes, I'm an Aries with depression wavelength and all my Aries friends are the same. We are not Leo to be absolutely happy and positive lol. click to expand

What’s depression wavelength? Does it mean that the potential to be depressed is always there but that it fluctuates from a higher frequency to a lower one?

I go through depressive phases but I wouldn't say I'm a depressed person. I don't see Aries as depressed people at all click to expand

What, in your opinion, is the difference between being a depressed person and going through depressive phases? How long do your phases typically last? What triggers them and how to you shake the feeling (you don’t have to answer if you don’t feel comfortable, dude)?

Well, they can be moody. That means they can be depressed I think.

Idk about depression, but I had a close aries friend who seemed traumatized by how her other friends left her. But the problem was she didnt cooperate well with her emotions and instead tried to find the exact traits or problems on our friendship thus making me feel ending it would be more appropriate. I'm all for having an ear to listen, but I've learned to give only 2 chances. Once they're used, I'm done

So your Aries friend essentially sabotaged your friendship by pushing you away? Sort of like a self-fulfilling prophecy?

Wouldn't depression be attributed by moon signs and not sun signs? I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure that sun signs are pretty insignificant in determining if you're prone to depression - with maybe water signs as the exception considering they're just emotional in general.

This is a crazy question. But Aries are hard on themselves and perfectionists, they have to be the best and can be competitive and obsessive with things so maybe easily addicted to drugs and alcohol which can contribute to depression.

Anyone can get depressed. It is not particularly a sun sign attribute. More specifically, it is the condition of the moon in the birth chart. Generally, water and secondly, earth are the elements that lean towards depression.... air and fire, anxiety.

Earth and water... the past.

Fire and air... the future.

I am an Aries women and I tend to get depressed mostly because of the unbelievable amount of pain I deal with on a daily. And with that said I get through each day y knowing when I go to sleep and wake up I will feel better about everything as if nothing happened!
