I wouldn't mind the snow if I didn't have to drive in it, but I hate, hate, hate extreme cold. It hurts....

My son moved to AZ, he'll never move back to NY because of the cold... I'm from Houston, like it hot, hot, hot too!
This was the outside temp last winter. It was also about 6:30 in the morning and I had to go feed my friends' cats. Oh, and that's not counting the *wind chill* factor.
i guess it was a good thing i left. wow
Yes! That's what I was trying to tell you. You have to accept the reality of the place not just the fantasy.
i know. it was not the place as much it was getting to know family i have never met before. i was cool walking the streets of the town i was born in. knowing my mother walk those same street with me as a baby. that was cool. i got to meet my fathers mother. yes she is still alive. i learned more about my father i never knew
Im in a terrible dilemma just like you were. Leaving family(no kids of my own) for another chance far away(cold too). Things are leaning towards me moving ive always been moving its what keeps me going
i just end up coming back home in the end. things have changed here but at the same time they have not change. weird all of it. lol i hope you find what feels like home.
Norwich sounds awful
