Soulmates . .

Have you ever met a new person and you knew instantly that the two of you would be great friends? There was just this connection, the moment you shook hands and were introduced. You don't know why you two were drawn . . you just were and now you have a good friend, for life.

Have you ever just known something, your gut instincts talked to you and the instinct was correct . . it knew?

Have you ever had deja-vu . . your intuition knows things beyond what our conscious mind can even begin to comprehend.

Our souls just know things and it drives us towards people, vocations, items, situations . . sometimes, it's so powerful within us that it gives us waking visions. And that's just "ONE" soul, our own.

So, wouldn't it be logical to believe that if there were "TWO" souls, you and your soulmate, with all this power . . that they would be drawn together and nothing in this physical world would be able to stop it?

Wouldn't a force that strong be like magnets, and these two souls wouldn't have a choice, except subconsiously move in this world toward each other?

Must be, geminifox, cause it doesn't look to me like anybody is being pulled towards other people, with that kind of magnitude.

I wonder, though . . why are we still looking? We must just all be mad.

I agree with you P Angel. That these things happen and happen a lot to me, specifically, because I feel we have the power to make what we want with life but we must first find out what it is we want to do with our lives. Once, you figure that out and follow it, you will naturally gravitate to familiar sould. Laws of attraction is the basis. Most people have no idean what they want and spend most of their lives trying to figure it out. Lost souls.

WOW! that is the exact feeling I got when I first saw my love......I now know that she is my soulmate...even like you said if we seperate or grow apart that feeling will always be there.....My other soul mate would have to be my mother.......the love there is endless....she is someone who understand me without me saying anything......and I, of course love her to pieces......she's my mother , my friend, We just have this certain connection.....it's cool :-)

i felt that way once. there wa a guy i felt like i had met him before. his kiss was familiar, his touch was tinged with a knowing... i felt like i had spent lifetimes with him.. even though i only knew him (at that point) for a few months...

i truly thought he was my soul mate... but then it ended.. he was scorp and tried to control me (i'm an aries)... and that didnt fly with me..

thing is.. someone told me that scorps have that uncanny ability to read into your soul.. and make you feel this connection..

so i dunno if what i felt was true.. or if it was just a scorp working his magic... *shrug*

Yes, have been thinking about it more now; what you said in your last post does make 'alot' of sense to me, solitas...'so very true, people are connected spiritually and deeply with 'many' other souls throughout eternity and many lifetimes over, and can be *anyone*, i totally agree; but where it got a little foggy for me (the changing of relationships lifetime after lifetime; you mean your brother could have been your lover in a past life?? or your mother could have been your child in a past life, etc, etc??... i guess i did idealize/romanticise things just a bit..lol*) So i'm guessing people's soul connections in passing could've been anyone in a past life, our grandmother, our father, our brother, etc, etc, we just don't know, except for the way we feel.. so yes, i do understand now; 'we can have many many soul connections, but it's what's best for our current soul/lifetime situation now, at this moment; the people we are 'now' with, interact with, that's what's most important, and what's mean't to be...*i've always believed the very beginning of our lives have been scripted/blue-printed long before any of us are born...
