"all i'm saying is you don't know the motives of other ppl, you don't know what's going on in their heads, so i wouldn't be so quick to judge. let everyone do what they think is right for them."

Yes you right, I might not know their motives (if he told me something about his motives, does it count?) and I can't make any sort of judgement without taking his life experiences into account, but allowing everyone doing what is right for them shouldn't be made in expence of others (for example his parents). I pretty sure that his parents are not happy with the situation, but they do understand that this is their kid and they cannot alow him to live in the street.

And we also need "normals" to allow society survive. For example, if we would allow people to kill each other and don't charge them by anything (btw this is also considered as normal) then we would simply allow qualited people to decrease and number of people will also decrease and at the end, the society will collapse. The other example is business world. If goverment would not take employers to force pay money to employees then those people would not able to live in society and society again would collapse (btw this also then could be called a little slavery). This is also another "normal" of society. If you are smart enough person and if you are able to exctract logic from this examples (and many others) then you can assume some new "normals" that does not exist on law paper yet. This actually the exat way how did those rules in papers do become rules, because once upon a time they werent written rules at all. They become written and therefore normal only through people who are able to use this universal logic who at the end simply become builders of society.

Unfortunately, life is not full of freedom. Humans are not free as we always would like to think. We are "free" as long as we do not oppose threat to society and thats all. Or damage and harm. Therefore, when we come to conclusion with this man, then I can say that he had to be an individual by 43 and not harm economically his parents which is for me is normal. But I again say, I can't judge him for who he is, because this perfectly might be the only thing that he knows.

But is that an excuse? That's actually no for me. But human society is not developed to that level yet.

Yeah, I know what you mean...a little danger can be kinda fun and it is at a certain point in one's life and THEN.....it creeps up on ya - when you least expect it and all you want is peace and calm and you find yourself enjoying those very peaceful moments. Life will continue to bring those bit of "danger" moments to us (thank goodness)...some call them "challenges"...we need them for growth like a plant needs fertilizer for growth.

There are days I so thrive on the rush of life and then there are days I need to just "be" and the peace feels great.

thanks for the compliment Scorpius.....much appreciated 🙂

"Wether you like to fit into "normal" category or not, there is a fact about life and that is no one want's to be trampled by life circumstances. Perhaps this could be normal."
haffo, that's true, but it's too easy to say he messed up his life. it's not that one-dimansional. you said you feel sorry for his parents, but maybe they raised him like this? and maybe they don't want him to be any different? it's sad, from an objective point of view, you're right, but the whole thing is very subjective.
and it irritates me when you say 'he's 43 (or whatever) and he ruined his life. does that mean if i make a mistake in ten years time i'll have ruined my life and will never be able to recover from it?
i'll better get that gun ready 😉
no offence, haffo, i usually appreciate what you post (i read more than i write myself, i'm a lurker), but in this case we seem to really have different opinions.

And I guess every person no matter whatever his family background is wants to live and wants to live good. This surely brings the fighting nature in a person in if something goes wrong (wether that wrong comes from wrong education from his parents, or he just don't know how to do the right one) which means that everyone in the world no matter what circumstances in the world is are fighters! If a person doesn't fight, then I belive that happens because of persons different view on the life. I guess he thought that his life will be in fun and he should not be worried about anything and he can rely on others even if he's a dumb with them.

I mean, this person must be somehow dumb to think like that.

you're right, he should go and at least try to get himself out of this mess as every grown up person would do. and i don't have much respect for people who only rely on others. so we agree on that, i just had a problem with some of your earlier posts because they were so judging and i'm always pretty careful with that.
