All this time I thought I was a Libra ascendant,

However, I never truly identified with the outward nature of a Libra ascendant. And when my mother found my true birth time, it made sense -- Scorpio rising.

Have any of you ever discovered that your birth time was entirely different?

I always thought I was a cancer rising until a few months ago. My mother was 20 minutes off on the birth time. I'm actual a Gem rising and it all makes sense.

Where ya been?!

I thought my whole life i was an Aries sun, just this year i found i was born 6 h after aries changed to taurus =D

Nope, not really. But you definitely look like a scorp rising to me.

So I've been told. The energy and look is vastly different from Libra ascendant. I was clearly identifying with the Libra energy in my moon and assuming it was my ascendant. Wrong! lol

I'm a Scorpio Rising and now that you mention the time of birth... My mom told me I was born at 10, but now I think I'll check my birth certificate... because if she was wrong that'll make me a Sag Rising... hmmm

Actually, no. Pisces decan.

Yes early on I thought I was a Sag rising but it'll because I am a Sag sun too I didn't think much of it.

When I learned more about Astro and figured out I was a Scorp rising it made perfect sense

For real, though. I was once told to leave a public recreational area by a "friend of my friends" because they didn't like my energy. Called me a fucking weirdo over the bad vibes that I was given out to him. On a first time meet too. This was before I found out my ascendant being in Scorpio. I've heard about similar experiences from other Scorpio risers on other different forums voicing the same discontent about the cons of having this particular placement. It's a gift and a curse.

Hahaha.... Yes! I know how you feel.. I've never had an experience where someone told me to leave... but I've had experiences where I told people I would leave because I get weird vibes from others. I just know when a person doesn't like me OR when a person is pretending to like me. I can't stomach that, so I remove myself first, ALWAYS!!!!... But definitely a gift and a curse...

No but I thought my friend was a Scorpio rising for a few years until recently. She's cancer rising , it makes complete sense .. She was nothing like Scorp rising , she's full blown cancer rising

I was off by 6 mins... 6 FREAKIN MINS, and all my house placements changed. I thought my sun was in the 9th before, but I knew it had be in the 8th. I just had a strong connection to the 8th house. Then when I found my birth time, I found out my sun is actually in the 8th. Makes much more sense. My ascendant didn't change, and I knew it wouldn't. I'm a total Virgo Rising.
