I'm more introverted, but prefer dogs.
I think the type of dog plays a huge part. I wouldn't be able to handle a border collie, they require too much exercise. I'd much rather have a rott, a chow or great dane. Some exercise required but lazy at heart.

I love my Border Collie! I think they're my fav breed. Pugs are fun, too. But holy cow on the smarts with Border Collies!! Never a dull moment and super sweet.

Man, these dogs are so smart. But so energetic, they tire me just watching them 😄
I love a dog I can laze around with. A friend of mine has a newfoundland and he is the laziest, sweetest dog I've ever see. Even his bark is lazy, haha.

Tennis balls, laser pointer, tug ropes, and walks. Also, mind games, like asking him to find things, or playing hide/seek, help wear him out. Mine has his bursts of energy but will happily cuddle near my feet or on the couch with me. He can't be left alone and have the run of the house or yard, though. He used to shred the blinds, so I crate trained him when he was a pup. He actually prefers it as his safe space/den if things get too chaotic or when I have to leave him home.
