Posted by LePetitFiskWe are basically the HR/Management. My co-worker jokingly said "oh, lost phone? It's mine". I've been protecting it from him lol.Posted by SunMoonStarsYou found it at work?
I want to return it, but they haven't been back to claim it.
I have kept it at work for 4 days, and they only tried calling on the first day when everyone was off work. It's of course locked, and numbers/text don't show, just the name.
Thinking of keeping it at work for another week for the person to come claim it. Annoying tbh, you would think someone would come looking. It's common sense as they left it on a bench right outside my workplace.
Give it to your HR or front desk reception and get it off your hands.
....unless you are planning on keeping it anyway.click to expand
Posted by iCloud9So I can get into the phone's Lost Mode how?
all we need to do is to go to Find My Phone app (on another iOS or iCloud.com), enable Lost Mode to display a message and contact info on the lost phone and track the exact location
a friend of mine just did that a few days ago. she and her hubby drove to this guy's house and knocked on his door lol. the guy didn't contact the number displaced on the phone via Lost Mode and gave them an excuse that he was going to bring it back to work after his day off or something lol
it has nothing to do with the zodiac signs. if you intend to keep the phone, you are a thief. and not a smart one lol

I'd return it to the owner or turn it in to the manager, etc.
If it was a shitty Android I'd do the same.
If it was a shitty old flip phone, I'd do the same.
Crackberry? Yeah, I'd return it.
A Windoze phone? You betcha. That shit's REALLY going to be returned to it's owner.
Nokia's used to be great, then they became shit. I'd still return it.
If it was the most expensive current iPhone (7), I'd return it.

Posted by AneemA08How can I find this "mom" number?
Return it. Track down a number that elicits "mom" and make a call.
Posted by shellshockerThis is precisely why I didn't want to take it home, and left it at work! How rude of those people!
I found one in a huge parking lot in suburbia. Threw it in the car contemplating what to do with it on the drive back to the city. I thought they'd probably call and we'd arrange a meet up to return.
30mins later a text comes in all "We're tracking you!!! Return the phone no questions asked!!!"
I was so pissed. I didn't wan't or steal their shyt phone how about a thank you for finding it. I mean I can't even access it to respond to a text.
So I lead them on a chase all over the city before returning home and let them track me there. They come to my door all aggressive and I guilt trip and berate them for their rude assumptions. Lady offers to give me money and I slam the door.
Now, I'd leave it were I found it.
I was just thinking about it this morning!
Posted by m200991Can the Apple store find the owner?
I'd wait where I found it for a bit to see if someone comes looking for it so that I can give it to them directly. Take it to the company/store upper management so they can put it in lost and found if the place I was at had one. Then I'd either call the "if found" number on it if there were one, or take it to an Apple store for them to return.
I don't even take money if I find it on the floor. My nephew found nearly $ 200.00 in front of a gas station and I made him take it back to them. As it turned out nobody claimed it so the store gave it back to him, and I suggested he donate a portion of it to an organization that helps the local community; which he did.
I've made it a point of personal pride to work hard for, and to keep, the things I have and value. I wouldn't want to be that guy that found a little old lady's phone she may have misplaced that her family got her to use in case of emergency. Okay... that's probably a stretch since it's an iPhone, but hey... you never know the situation/story of the person on the other side.

iPhone are designed to be practically useless to anyone else aside from the owner due to the security settings. Unless you know the person's pass code, you might as well return it.
Personally, I'd just return it regardless.
