Please correct me If I am wrong,

Hades moon = Moon conjunct Pluto (or any other aspect between moon and pluto)

Is it still called a Hades moon when Pluto is retrograde in the natal chart?

I have Moon in Scorpio conjunct Pluto retrograde.

These days DXP is more about tits and people indulging their fixation on their gay-looking dogs on the front page than astrology lol.

Sorry but I just joined, not too familar, I don't quite know how to do this bump thing.

Too bad, I thought I could some advice from people here. But It seems there are lots of astrology fans. I understand how a turn-off my beginner question might be though haha

Lol don't worry about it. Try to mingle first, get a feel for the place. Also depends on the time of day you post, which is why you can just post a reply in your original thread to bump it to the top of the section so that more people see it.

I would say Moon-Pluto contacts are considered Hades moon, irrespective of the signs the planets are in.

And if such an aspect exists in a chart plus the Moon is placed in sign of Scorpio, then it's considered to be a "Double dose".



I was only wondering whether Pluto being retrograde could affect that aspect. I thought if Pluto is retrograde, then the aspect would not be considered a "Hades" moon anymore.

But then on final thoughts, a planet being retrograde doesn't nullify any aspect, but on the contrary.

So, I guess I do have a hades moon.

I am not too framiliar with retrogrades, Sorry. But you are welcome for the input that I was able to offer 🙂

I also have a Scorpio Moon, but no aspect to Pluto.. Maybe you know how many degrees it takes to be conjunct? Must be 5? My Asc conjuncts my Moon & Pluto, but the Moon and Pluto are 10 degrees apart, so no aspect to one another.

I am not sure about the "degrees apart" thing, they say it varies slightly according to astrologers. Maybe the most common would be this:

It gives an orb of 10.8 degrees apart for conjuntions!

Ahh moon in 12th, I have got mars out there. Doesn't matter if it doesn't conjunct. Both ASC and Moon in scorpio should make up for that overwhelming intensity ^^

Maybe it conjuncts slightly though? I mean there might be a conjunction, but with a very wide orb, the largest orb possible in this case.

Yes Pluto90, I am thinking wiseblood must be having a hades moon in her chart, without her knowing it yet. But I can't be sure, must look at the chart.

Yes, It's rather Moon-Pluto aspects I think. And retrograde doesn't affect anything here. Pluto can be retrograde, and it will still be called a Hades moon.

Not really, scorpio moon does not default to hades moon. I don't believe that either.

Wouldn't Scorpio Moons and Hades Moon still be different though?

Correct me if I'm wrong, Moon in Scorpio take on the traits of Scorpio, while Hades Moon take on the traits of their moon sign but are under Pluto's chokehold. (Making the Moon less comfortable and feels more intense for the latter.)
