How to approach a close friend about their nasty fishy smell from down under? help!

One of my close friends (she is also my co worker + my maid of honor at my wedding in august) smells really strange in the last few weeks. Fishy and really really bad….
I tried to figure out if it was her jacket, top or whatever.. but then I noticed that she wears the same damn jeans every day.. since weeks. She sat in front of me and opened her legs so she could cross them – that smell hit me right in my nose jeezz!! I think she never washed them in weeks otherwise I can’t explain that smell! I know that she showers everyday (as far as she told me) her hair is always nice and clean.. it’s just the damn smell from down under…

Now… how can I approach her about that without freaking her out?! She is a very very nice and sweet person. But I’m hella afraid of that cap mars!!!

I honestly, hate this kind of stuff, like makes me so tense to have to tell you but, I would want to know, so I always suck it up and tell people. Just do it privately so there is no chance of public embarrassment and I would go the medical route - I'm concerned, blah blah blah - I read somewhere this is super common, again blah blah blah, but if she's a friend you gotta at least try and help - she might have noticed the smell but thought no one else did and telling her might light a fire under her to get to the Dr and get herself looked at.

It's Urinary Tract Infection (UTI), and the smell is very distinct of fish. It will also worsen to the point of her health if not addressed.

Just because you talk to your friend about this serious matter does it mean you have to mention stench.

Are you not capable of telling her you know she has it because there is a certain odor associated with these infections, without using some finesse?

I've never had a bad odor or run into anyone who did, but that's a sign that an infection is going on, and there could be several different infections that can cause bad vaginal odor. She needs to see a Dr. Don't be shy, just kindly tell her that you're worried about her healthy. If you had an issue, wouldn't you want someone to care enough to tell you? Granted, we assume we'll smell ourselves, but maybe her nose isn't sensitive or it's clogged up from allergies.

It's either she has an infection...and I really doubt that an infection will be something that you can smell through her underwear and jeans, that's a little excessive unless you're putting your face in-between her legs.
