LIBRA AND TARUS

Can a libra and tarus really work?

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF LIBRAS AND TARUS IN A RELATIONSHIP..i LUVVV TARUS

I'm almost a year strong with one, storm.

Oops, I'm Taurus and almost a year strong with a Libra.

Tauruses are pretty self-oriented creatures. They, being Earth signs are also more mental/objective than feeling/subjective and this can be hard to deal with to the diplomatic Libra who is also more mental/objective but is more motivated and inspired by what they can achieve for others rather than themselves.

They both seek reasonable, rational, logical outcomes in all of the situations they face so they can respect each other there, however while Libra is probably the most genuine sign in seeking mutual bennifit, that is more something that is a plus but not a focal point to the taurus's decision making. They can be a lot more stubborn and defensive than the easy going libra and here you can run into problems as Taurus is known for being one of the most outwardly demonstrative signs when it comes to power and assertiveness and Libra is described by most astrologers as the iron fist in the velvet glove. Taurus WILL try to push libra around and manipulate, Libra will handle such demonstrations with poise seemingly unaffected in any serious way until a weekness is spotted then suddenly a Libra's destructive capacity comes out, then is re-sheathed quickly as it was used. The way both signs handle power struggles and disagreements is kind of like oil and water. Especially as the Libras objectivity goes out the window when they feel threatened...there is no "in kind" there is only win or loose and everything becomes fair.

This sounds exagerated and extreme, but it happens in little day to day interactions that may be slightly loaded with negative connotation or perceptions.....unless both are willing to see a disagreement through to the end and come to a true mutual understanding and acceptance on all issues there can be a lot of rough waters. If that can be done, they will mutually admire each other. Taurus will admire Libras diplomacy and tact, their subtle way of advancing the needs and wants of themselves and those involved with equal effort....the ability to throw ones weight around seemingly unnoticably (this is only a part of Libras characterisitics but Taurus admires power and results so this is one of the areas they will admire Libra in). Libra will admire almost the exact opposite in Taurus. They will admire their up front attitude towards business and their discipline in how they always put themselves first and like the Libra does in gaining position in a situation, Taurus can do this without much real perception of selfishness from the outs
