LOL. My dad is an aquarius mars. When he gets angry he never raises his voice, he just changes his voice tone. It's eerily scary.

What's more, he watches my reaction to it and it makes him smile, twinkle eyed even. Gives me a mixed feeling of wanting to rip his face off and his shirt off. It's moghty embarassing.

Pardon, I guess it's more "detached and thorough" with him. A.k.a. letting you down gently, but with no emotion attached in it. I guess I consider that soft, given the abindance of Gem and Aqua in me.

Because they seem to be annoyed by the same things, which on the other end, give them the potential to be one of the few placement that can really drive us crazy, if they want to.

he knows it does, hence why he does it. yes i know it's sick and twisted but its a dark side of Aqua in general or it can be.
Just like gem moon loves to troll others, Aqua placments do similiar shit but we are cold about it and that gets to other people. but deep down we really aren't cold, we just are so well gaurded you won't ever see it unless we want you too.

Why does it piss you off? I mean, are you wanting a shouting match? He's patiently allowing you to say your peace without interrupting or talking over you. I don't understand how his reaction causes you to have more anger.

Within last year I notice that a lot of Sadge and Aqua placements, particularly suns, come with a personal planet in Cap, ranging from 1 placement to a stellium.
Ir maybe it's because I keep dating men from 81-83 yr range.
Cap moons stick to me though, and it's never easy. But always valuable. First Aqua Mars I ever dealt with though.
I guess the Cap factor also comes with the fact that my generation (90-92) has Uranus and Neptune conjunct in Cap. Which automatically projects us in conjunctioj to anybody's emotional planets (moon, venus, mars) in Cap, regardless of the sun.

i have aries placements, that's our default reaction...the bash your head in/fuck you sideways approach. they know how to play on that.
you could easily defuse it if you wanted. no emotional reaction, no rile up. tell them they are right and sigh because even if they think they are right..they want people to put on a fight. tell them to explain it all to you because you just don't get it...and you'll see them deflate because they wanted a worthy adversary. and then make a passing remark that shows that you did get it and smirk at them and they'll be all over you.
