I've spoken to psychiatrists. (I'm in the medical field.)
It's clear to me that most men would do better mentally and sexually if they abstained from masturbation.

Just to add on a finding of mine over the years.
I have noticed that women who partake of this form of self-love regularly actually find it easier to accept their bodies and have almost no issues with how other people judge them on a superficial level.
