I have known and been around various types of Sagittarius folk, of all walks of life. I tend to get along great as I too love to have fun and enjoy life, as an Aries. I did recently date one for months where their depressive behaviors of "why always me" and "nothing will work out (after it JUST did)" frustrated me to no end, and all advice went out the window all the time. That could again be the fact that many of us are on edge from the state of the world or whatever, but no way is that healthy in a relationship. I would think the person in a better environment would be a great partner. Also argument same person was a brick wall, better than a fight with a Capricorn regarding politics, but still very close to nightmare scenario of exchanging arguments.

My Sagittarius friends I think highly of, I don't understand motives then again until we all display adult behavior we all seem like crazy people walking this world, with our love life's and actions. Mind you these same friends are younger than me so tend to be more free-wheeling about life in general so I can't blame them for that. i was just like that at that age, heh.

The sag I dated seemed relationship material all-in-all. I only found beef with the not able to get out of the dumps aspect, which was being dealt with, and I would wager we all don't display our best qualities at that time and those supporting them and giving them advice and kind words can feel like asses in the end for trying once rejected or ignored for being a positive force in that situation.

I spoke to an astrology buff friend, who has an informed astrological perspective, on what she thought of Sag women.

She did not have ANYTHING nice to say! Not a single thing; I was surprised, and presumed an evident bias.
In a nutshell she said Sag women are:

1) trifling backstabbers who cannot be trusted, especially if crossed
2) fiery for its own sake
3) naive
4) superficial, not prone to depth

Any experiences or insights about Sagittarean women? Any Sag women want to defend themselves? 🙂

My mother is a Sagittarius and I have a Sag ascendant.

My mother is not a backstabber. She will not go out of her way to hurt someone. If someone has hurt her, she's very overt with them. She's the sort of enemy who will simply tell you off and blow up at you to your face. She's not the kind of person who will try to get revenge or destroy you.

She can be very feisty sometimes. But, to be fair, so can ALL fire signs or people with a fire-dominated chart.
My mother isn't superficial in the sense of being fake. She has simple tastes and is a very casual person. She's not deep in the sense of being profound or introspective. She can be a bit childlike at times; she's very playful and she finds humor in almost everything--she is not an overly serious person, nor is she very self-conscious. Sometimes, her jokes can be vulgar or otherwise inappropriate, but she likes to make people laugh. She's definitely an extrovert.

My mother is someone who will bend over backwards for someone if she thinks that they have been wrong. She speaks her mind, but her intention is simply to be honest. She does hurt people (including me) at times, but she is not outright malicious and a lot of times she does not realize what she does until we talk about it later.

I don't always feel particularly close to her, but I do appreciate her honesty. Sometimes, she can be a bit brutal, but I know that she is at least telling the truth.

^^^ truth. i recently started talking to an old sagi female friend(havent talked in years), and i will agree that although it seems shes different from the usual teen, there really is no depth. as for backstabbing and turning on people...we were talking and it was very flirty and she ended up sending some pics and all that stuff. phone died and got on FB to add her so we could talk, and shes in a relationship with guy 0.0. but i dont agree that thats just a saggi thing, its just a whore thing.

I don't trust many Sags just because they are very good at pretending they like you when that's not the case. You can get screwed by one and never suspect them of screwing you because they've been smiling in your face the whole time. They seem to enjoy laying in the cut and striking you just when the time is right too. Its just hard for someone like me to really know where I stand with them which is why they are avoided.

I have noticed though that most are sensitive and have good hearts. Some seem to become victims to life and their treatment through out it, which makes some become borderline evil, but a young Sag, especially, will do the most for someone and get the least amount of credit. If I look back at my Sag cousins etc, a lot of their efforts went unnoticed and they were just overall some of the most poorly treated, despite having some of the biggest hearts and being the sweetest. A Sag will do anything for you! Many of the ones I know just seem to have not the best childhoods.

Out of the 3 fire signs, Sags are the meanest and cruelest fire sign there is. There can be a tendency to lack self-control and self-discipline, unlike their next door neighbors (Capricorn and Scorpio), and they give into their own hedonistic and indulgences. They are underhanded and they do seem superficial... they seem to judge quickly based on what they see on the outside and they do not seem to care or have the ability to look more deeply into someone. So yes, there can be a tendency to be shallow.

There's more or less evolved ppl in every sign. What I personally don't like at Sags is the complete utter inability to see their own faults and deal with them. See the above. Sags don't have defects like other ppl, it's not them, it's the other signs that are dark lol. Sure you can party and get the best things out of life. It's usually done at the expense of other ppl anyways; Sag is a mutable sign, and mutable signs use and abuse the ressources created by cardinal signs and maintained by fixed signs. However, when you insist on going througg life with chirp chirp gay superficiality at least try not to preach to the others who have different ways or understanding or rules in this life.
No wonder Cap follows Sag, and Cap really pays working and taking the hard ways.. like this the karmic lessons get well understood

actually as a mutable sign, i find myself constantly putting aside what i want to do for the cardinal and fixed signs to have their way.

The boredom is just because you're so desperately trying to flatter and accomodate the big whales in order to step up on the social ladder.
You can be the happiest guy in the neighborhood, a Sag will only date you if you've got it going financially, socially etc

And honest? Phlease. They act to well, lie and fake different things to obtain more advantages.. On the top list of cheapest greediest customers I see are Sags.. Every other guy is calling for a little something but Sags will want the business to actually lose money in order to satisfy him, and even then it's only normal, they "deserve" it 🙂

Mutable signs are communicative, ADAPTABLE, friendly...this comes across sometimes as being flighty or not genuine. That is not the case with Sags (except maybe very young ones). There are times when I am flexible to appease a fixed or cardinal sign. And then I will resent it if I am taken for granted because of this. Do not take our friendly ways for granted! And, dont forget, like any sign, not all Sagittarians are the same. There are greedy, lying, selfish bitches in ALL signs.
