i remember sitting next to the first aqua venus guy i was involved with. we were at a dinner party and i had my hand on his leg under the table. he was so stiff and awkward after that! it's pretty funny looking back on it. makes me want to be MORE showy just to make you guys squirm. 😛

And even if they do, they're going to go about it in a very different manner to how you originally expected.

If the Aqua sun is associated with being independent, eclectic, off-beat, undiscriminating and unorthodox, surely the same applies for an Aqua placement in the relationship department, no?

That's probably why a lot of dxpers bitch about this placement, like obnoxious spoilt brats, because things didn't go their way.

Well, that's my take on what I've been coming across.

It's a very sad placement.... for the OTHER person it seems. COLD is termed alot by these venuses, ect. because it is very sad and tragic for the person who fall in love with them. IF they are loved, then it's probably very good. Nothing in between.

Perhaps some of ya'll need some mother fuckin patience. Cant just be opening up and falling head over heels all quick. Aqua venus is not a placement that is going to just be all up on you right off the bat. Once it has a connection though its pretty damn warm and affectionate imo. It just truly has to give a shit about you first. Tho I'm a pisces so perhaps thats why.

Gobshites post was pretty accurate tho. hehe

I love the good traits of aqua venus but I vehemently hate the bad traits just as much.

They are capable of warm and inclusive but they are also capable of doing a 180 if they don't feel the relationship fits their needs any longer, with no warning.

So, when it's good....it's really good....when it's not, it feels really lonely to the other person and sometimes leaves you like you were blindsided.

like the sun and moon in aqua.....I feel they can remove those 'memories' from their bank and pretend it never happened. A selective memory of sorts. "Pretend" might not be the best word because I don't think there is pretending involved....but the proper word escapes me at the moment.

For those of us that can't do that.....it's a risk getting involved with this venus. you never know when they will pull an "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" on you.

I own my own sh*t and my decisions, so I am not going to justify or excuse my actions by blaming someone else.

I suppose I was more thinking along the lines of commitment. When things stop being easy breezy, and shit gets real, some just prefer to abandon ship and look for the next easy option, rather than take the time to work out the kinks in the relationship with someone that they've already invested time and emotion in. No matter who you date, there will always be something about them that you don't like, because there is no perfect mate.

I agree wholeheartedly. I need to know a person is as invested in this as I am. If they are, I will work through anything with them. I don't run when thing get a little (or very) rough.

I have my Venus in Virgo and I have a hard time with Venus in Aries, Sag and Aqua.

Having an Aries Venus only stinks bc I do get bored easily and I hate breaking up with people.... But I never chase and I don't enjoy it at all.

People who love Aqua Venus are either very bizarre or have no clue.

I won't argue not being bizarre but it's not the worst venus to have.

With my boyfriend, it basically just requires me to be the aggressor and take the lead. He hugs me, he kisses me, he stares at me in adoration...he conpliments me, he surprises me with flowers and candy and trinkets. He opens doors for me. He does the dishes! I mean really! Lol. He's loyal. He doesn't try to invoke jealousy. He puts in a good effort most of the time. What's so bad?

I don't necessarily hate any Venus placements, I just tend to bond more with water and earth Venus placements; go figure. I have found the Venus in Virgo folk to be a little harder to read. However, they can be supremely sweet and dedicated once they've chosen someone. They just don't make the first move, that's for sure. Gotta have patience!
