Leo placements can allow someone to be creative while positive Venus aspects can allow someone to have refined tastes.

I say that because I myself have both. And I'm naturally very artistic and also expressive through writing.

I agree. Fifth house placements. Pisces placements also, as mentioned. Pisces Mars is a good placement for actors. Third house placements for writing skills, or sun, moon, Merc. in Gem.

What about an empty Libra 5th house?

I don't know about house placements but these signs are know for these skills

pisces - fine arts, cancers too

leo - acting, dramatics and musical skills

aries - martial arts

virgos - poets and songwriters, even martial arts, disciplinary arts.

sagittaius - musicians, chess players, strategic thinking

scorpio - philosophical, revolutionary thinking and writing skills

Gemini must be having some artistic talents pertaining to communication

all these signs in various placements contribute to some amount of their relevant artistic skills.

It's the self undoing so it usually indicates loss, bad treatment, but a truckload of creativity and spirituality.

I would say 5th house stellium. Also Taurus placements for singing, Gemini placements for writing.

I have this and I excel at anything that has to do with performing arts: singing, dancing etc. I used to perform a lot when I was younger. I had several solos in my choir, and I was captain of my dance team. I'm also very good at drawing. I draw for a living basically lol I'm a jewelry designer (my Virgo rising helps me at designing because it involves so much detail). My drawing skills actually helped me get into art school. They weren't gonna let me in because my grades and gpa in highschool were horrible. I also used to write, and won several awards for my writing skills while I was in school too.

But when it comes to creating music I have to say Pisces placements hands down. Some of the most talented producers I know have a Pisces sun or Moon.

Yep I'm a Pisces the whole visual arts is true. I used to do role playing in highschool and I was in the church choir in middle school. I also own a electric guitar my grandma passed down to me the problem is it's too old.
