Astrology? I don't even know if I believe in any of it(I'm trying to firgure it out), but I do know that it works quite well as a tool, trying to understand and explain how people function, and seeing as your rising sign is supposed to be your persona I can truthfully tell you that I function that way. You can call me noob or dumbass all day long, but if you claim to know how I function better than I do, you can add yourself to the list of noobs and dumbasses.

i guess it's only fair to state my pov of how it all started.

as a child, i started out being extremely shy. i can remember as far back as a 4 year old child in child developement. i didn't want to go outside in the playground to play with the other kids because all i wanted to do was go back home to my moma. i remember crying and both my child developement teachers asked me what wrong? you don't want to play with the other kids? then as i grew into high school, i was still shy but not no where near shy as i was in preschool and elementary school. i was quiet still. always was quiet pretty much all my life really but became quite confidence with the girls and somehow ended up with 25 girlfriends in high school despite being bullied.

and now as a full grown adult, i've became homebound. a hermit if you will. so attached to home and family. so i guess my libra rising shined in high school. and i don't have a clue as to what placement made me shy and quiet as a child. can't be gemini sun. soooooo......now to this very day, i carry traits of the rising thing. libra rising makes me musically inclined, handsome, quiet, sweet, charming.

my physical ailments include constant lower back pains, weak bladder, sluggish/lack of energy and that's not including ailments involving my sugar glands which libra is immuned to all that's listed.

I'm thinking if it could perhaps be your cancer bits that made/makes you shy? I don't know. I'm sorry about your physical ailments, but I'm happy you are where you want to be in life.

Apart from Venus square Pluto (2 degree) I have:

Sun sextile Pluto (0 degree)
Neptune sextile Pluto (4 degree)

Thank you! I am by no means an astrologer, so please baer with me - these are just my own theories. My spontaneous reaction is that your sun-pluto aspect is interesting due to the principle of little resistance. I also think that there's a great difference between being plutonic and scorpionic and being an 8th house person. I've only ever used one site to review my chart and I don't even know where the Houses are shown on it 😢

I was a silent shy kid...but working or playing really got me. I was definitely more affable...but, quietly friendly with everyone in class/neighbourhood. I was very very friendly with older people...especially senior elder folks and they were with me...hmm.. My parents tell the same.. At school - a teachers pet, but hated attention.

I really cannot pinpoint my Moon or rising..because my chart is FULL of water except my sun/venus including NN/MC.

But yes, once I was in 9th grade, I became more reserved, i also look like a typical cancer... It is very important. I am a careful/cautious person. Security and stability in life gained importance in late teen years, and it is what I strive for. I love children, dont get me started even haha.. Im sure I behave like one, atleast very watery.
I probably will never come across as an Aries lol.. My family does not agree that I am Aries. FAMILY is my world.

I could swear I didn't start using my rising until I was about seven or eight years old and up til I was about thirteen, and my parents agree.

After that, I think it(my rising) has slowly, but steadily, been setting out to desert me. It's like I can turn it on or off, but it's not there as default to the same degree. If it would make a difference, I should probably add that I have the same rising sign as my moon sign, but my moon is aspected to all eternity, so the energy is not at all as "clean" as my rising and therefore not comparable, imo.

There is apparently a theory that you grow into your rising sign, but I'm experiancing quite the opposite.

What's your rising sign experience?

I was not personally aware of my rising or knew of it until I started doing astrology about 24 months ago !!

But looking back , it's been prominent and noticed by others since a child. I have a Leo rising and it has been drawing people in since my teens! I never liked been 'seen' but now have embraced it and I now love it!! Lol

Yes, more so when I was younger ... that I had two sides. I was either shy or quiet ... or I was too outgoing.

I think it got a bit more merged and stronger when my Mercury got stronger. Or rather, the gut feeling of my Rising of the other people and the observations of the nonverbal from those people determines my communication approach and content.
