Oh yesss. dad is Capricorn sun, Taurus moon, Aries ascendant.. I guess its reverse in our case. 🙂 my dad always says that I am like a mother to him.

My dad is a Scorpio I have a Sagittarius Ascendant my mother her ascendant is Gemini and mine Sagittarius we totally don't get along specially with her sun in Cancer

My dad sun is cancer (moms in taurus); me and my brothers moons' are both in cancer, I have leo asc...no one in my immediate fam is a leo (my moms were parents Cap n Libra, dads mom is cancer not sure his dad, he thinks april which could be aries like my sun).
My Asc is Gemini and my dad is a Scorpio.

I heard somewhere that rising is what you were deemed in your family/what your parents raised you as. So I think it could depend on what the parents wanted from their child. The correlation between zodiac sign and rising sign could be a result of parents using their own 'positive' traits as a model for how the child should approach the world. Which sometimes results in children having their parents Sun signs as rising signs

like is there a possibility to have your ascendant sign as your grandmother (your moma moma) sun sign? there's really two of us in our immediate family that share our grandmother's sun sign as a rising. and we both carry qualities of it. tho i must say i can see a little of my moma sun sign as a rising too.

Me: Taurus ascendant, Scorpio sun
Dad: Sagittarius ascendant, Aqua/Pisces cusp sun
Mom: Capricorn ascendant, Libra sun
Sister: Cancer ascendant, Taurus sun
So the only link is my ascendant and my sister's sun
Only know my parents sun signs, mother was a Libra dad was a Sagittarius.
In my case though I have Gemini asc and my son has Gemini ascendent.
His mum is Pisces moon and he is Pisces Sun sign
I am a Virgo sun and he has a Virgo moon
His mum and him both have Saturn in Leo
Everything else seems, at first glance anyway to be without any correlation.
Me: gem rising. Dad: taurus sun. Mom: virgo sun.
Brother: gem rising too. Same parents.
So, nope.

Virgo Asc. Pisces Descendant... My dad is a Pisces. But my sisters have Cancer and Aqua rising. What about moon? Oddly my mom is Libra and three of four have Libra moon.

My midheaven is virgo though. And its conjunct my sun.
