How to Begin Learning Astrology Effectively
Start with understanding the basic planets and their influences, then gradually explore astrological houses and signs. Focus on learning one concept at a time to build a strong foundation before moving on to more complex topics. Consistent study and practice will help you enjoy and deepen your astrology knowledge.
First thing is to produce your chart and study. Go to astro.COM (astrodeinst) to get your chart. It's free. Cafe astrology is a good website to start learning. Been studying for over 40 years

I did my chart with astro. Cafe astrology a few months ago and I have been reading it.
Look up your aspects. I connected more to the descriptions of my aspects then the houses/planet placement.

I want to learn more about astrology. I am pretty much a beginner ☺️So far I know about the suns. I am learning here about Venus, Moon and a bit of Mars.
What next?
Do you recommend that I concentrate on this for now or learn more about the houses at the same time.

I connect more to my planets ....it's what I enjoy. Aspects midheaven too ..i think it's personal. What resonates etc.
If I am doing charts for others i tend to concentrate on planets too. But i would consider myself a beginner like you 🙂

Were they exactly the same? I did my chart in 3 places, and cafe astrology says I have Libra rising, and Astro.com and some other one, astrotheme? I forget tbh, said Leo rising as well.
I know my birth time so I don’t know why I get different results for rising.

Umm... don’t get so serious 😜
Definitely start with the different archetypes, imo. Relate those to the planets and houses and then connect them with aspects. The rest will come naturally as you advance.
Study your chart and be open to what you find - sometimes you have to really dive down to get it. Don't look for what you want to find, but for what is actually there. This can be easier said than done.
And also, be very critical about your sources - don't believe everything you read! There's a lot of BS out there.
