Who Moved My Cheese? By Dr. Spencer Johnson.
It's a little book, a good read for anyone in the middle of a problem, however big or small the problem is. Someone i know is going through a divorce and recommended this book. It's about dealing with change and moving on. I only wish there were more pictures in it.

Good Calories / Bad Calories by Gary Taubes.

An indepth look into the shoddy science behind current nutrition, including how the rise of low-fat came about due to dogma rather than rigorous science. A very good but difficult read due to all of the science and research within.

Went to a talk he gave on Imperial Bedrooms, and he's obviously really funny and sick but what is going on with his recent novels? I wonder.

Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything, by Stephen Dubner

Great book, that was one of my favorites. Even if some of the conclusions weren't wrong, the display of critical thinking and deep thinking made it very much worth reading.
