Cancer Astro Chart

Based on my birthday, I know I am a Cancer. Lot of people discussing astrology in these forums are a lot more advanced. In their profiles, they have items like:

Sun in Mecury
Venus in Jupiter
and so on.

How do you get this sort of information? Is there any software that will give such information? Does this give me more accurate information about my personality?

also, just so you know...whenever you put in the birth time and the birthplace and click enter, the next screen will let you chooose the birthplace...make sure that the birth time is correct. i've had problems on that website where i would put in 7:57 but then when it came to the screen to choose the birthplace it went back to 7:00.
