Understanding Cancer's Emotional Depth in Relationships

Cancer individuals often experience deep emotional struggles and self-doubt. They may seek connection and reassurance but need time to work through their issues. Building patience and understanding can foster stronger bonds and mutual growth.

.... you deleted. I saw your original OP and the Cancer said something like, "how can you like me with all my emotional issues when i don't even like myself?" or something like that I can't remember BECAUSE you deleted. hmfff

I was going to say listen to that because I think she really likes you but just isn't ready yet, you know. she was work to do, she knows it and wants to be a better her.

So... why not enjoy the time you have and build some "motivation" together?

Are you fucking kidding? You accidentally deleted a post? Both of them? Get on.
Cancer girls pretend not to like men all the damn time. It has a lot to do with trust. If she has a trust issue with you, I can understand why.

Give him a break from what exactly?
"Why would I do that?"
I've only ever heard that from a liar.
Why delete the second one?
If he doesn't want to stick around as her friend because it hurts too much then he should just tell her that and walk away like he wants. Its annoying. There's nothing worse than a Pisces sticking around when he doesn't want to.

If this girl is seeking you out, trying to sit/be close to you, opening up in conversations and avoiding talks about coupledom... she likes you.

Her actions will show her feelings more so than her words. I'm with a Pisces and once told him I don't like labels and want to concentrate on myself. I was crazy about him and actually wanted him more after that conversation.

maybe your direct interest in her makes her emotionally anxious on top of her anxious emotionality. cancers are sidewalkers

Stop causing trouble, DeepSea.

....And why the hell did you accept her FRIEND ZONE crap?

You should have walked away after that shit.

All you had to respond with was: "That's cool, but I want more than your friend zone and I also don't want to pressure you. Give me a call if you change your mind."

After saying that, you should have iced her out and found another girl to go out with.

If she really likes you, she WILL come back.

Otherwise, fuggettabouttit.

Don't listen to him, Deepsea.
That fish-to-fish talk doesn't apply here. Listen to your little crab friends!

Only a geek accepts a unilateral decision from a woman regarding a relationship status, especially when you clearly want more than friend zone shit.

A man would use tact and civility while rejecting that shit, and simultaneously leave the door open in case she changes her mind.

Respect your opinion, Scorp, but I don't want to be just another one of the people who walks out of her life. We were friends before anything else, and as a friend, i made a promise to her that I fully intend to keep.

this is an example of what I meant earlier

deepsea.... you're a Fish so you'll listen to advice, weigh it out... and do whatever the hell you want anyway, lol. A Fish got me thinking about this on the Pisces board.... and you mentioned you guys go to church so I??ll assume you are religious/spiritual.

Cancer/Pisces can achieve harmony within themselves and connect universally, on a soul level. Self actualization is at this pairings finger tips, since water flows the easiest. Especially cardinal & mutable.

The thing is, it won't be out of martyrdom and obligation. It won't be through ultimatums and jealousy games either. It will be thru love and trust.

I know you like this girl and would like to go full steam ahead now, do you have an Aries Venus, perhaps? But once a Crab puts their claws in and gets attached they hold on tight, tight, tight and that may make you want to swim later on down the line.

A Cancer with a little more life experience and emotional strength is a more stable Cancer, imo.

could you post your charts?

You have some of the same planets/placements as my Pisces, a similar vibe.

Gemini placements need a lot of interaction/mental stimulation and socializing. Are you both very active in your church/social activities?

She's a Fire Crab... that's a TON of Leo. No wonder your Venus is stirred 😉. Leo placements require attention, so if you're giving it she's probably loving it. I don't know how sincere she may be if attention is the only thing she is seeking. Leo is affectionate, loyal and dramatic but an Air Moon might tame that a bit. I doubt she's boring...

Guaranteed, if you back off a bit her Fire will come looking for you, if it's not wrapped up in ego. Wether your pull back out of protecting your own self or to gauge her genuine interest, I'm sure something will come to light.

I just found out, through a mutual friend, that she had a small farewell party/gathering thing(she's moving next month, for whoever didn't see the original post) with friends last night..no invite for me, never even any mention of it from her..

Ouch.

yeahhhh.... not good

(she sent my sisters and mom friend requests after meeting them at an Easter dinner I invited her to..which I thought was weird but whatever..lol)

Dude, stop listening to these women and listen to me.

Go back and read my posts about how to handle this FRIEND ZONE shit.

Only a wimp "hangs out" with a woman after she makes a unilateral change to what you have going.

Do NOT empower her to be allowed to do that shit to you.

This is the equivalent of letting her turn the stereo completely off while you are jamming out, when you should BOTH AGREE to simply lower the volume.

Send her the message I wrote previously, and walk out of her life. Get other friends, get a new church and move on.

Otherwise, you are only hurting yourself and allowing her to have power over you when it is the fucking MAN who is supposed to be pursued and be in charge.

This feminist "here is what we will do, and here is what we will not do" bullshit is only going to cause you more trouble than it's worth.

what does your gut say?

Aries Venus I tell you, He chases... she backs off. He backs off... she chases. I'll say this, my Pisces tried to Friend Zone me once but that was after a year of dating! I walked... he came running. But your situation is much different since Cancer girl is leaving in a month.

I think the only decision right now is whether to remain her friend or not. LDRs don't really work for water folk.

I think, with the whole not being invited to her going away thing..it shows me where I truly stand with her and it's probably time to move on. Kills me though, seemed like she was perfect for me(sans anxiety)

Kind of feel like a fish that's been hooked, put up a long, tiring fight, but just couldn't spit the hook..

There you go.

Just make sure that you leave the door open to her in case she changes her mind. Otherwise you need to maintain your damn self respect in all this and move on with your life.

seriously, most confusing girl I've ever met.

🙂

I hear that alot, we're complicated. Just go with the flow. Go to lunch. She's leaving soon right. Go for it. How can you get mad she didn't invite you to a going away, yet she has invited you to lunch which is way more intimate.

you're way into your feels and not acting rationally.

I like that she invited him to lunch because it is more intimate, and she didn't have to worry about balancing him into 5-10 minute intervals at the party.

Yes, she may seem confusing on the surface.

But I am willing to cut her a break since she is moving far away.

I suppose stay in touch with her, but don't be a damn doormat.

Lol, which is it, Scorp? Give her a break because she wants to get lunch, or move on? New York to Mississippi, so about 1200 miles.

Have lunch with her, and keep your emotional center. Don't be a wuss, just be a man.

She is moving to Mississippi from New York?

Maybe you should consider making a hint at her about going to graduate school at Ole Miss or something.

Don't make it obvious you are moving there to be with her, but make clear that you heard they have excellent programs there (which is very true).

I already read it! Not sure if you hid it because you want it dropped or if something changed. I won't respond here if you don't want me to.
