how important is sex in your relationships?

i am realizing that i would sacrifice other things...reasonable of course...just for mind-blowing passionate sex. it is that important to me. one of my best relationships started out intense in the bedroom and when that died down...his affection and drive...the whole relationship started to suffer. at times it seems superficial, but maybe that is a cancer thing. we can have friendship, honesty, commitment, harmony...but without great sex it is just lacking.

Sex cannot last forever, when your 70 years old you think SEX still the important thing in relationship?? I don't think so, i love sex but i really don't think it's important at all, you can have great sex and terrible personality and i cannot live with some that piss me off everyday.

I've dated guys where it was lacking in the bedroom but continued to date them because everything else was up to par. I love sex as well but, good sex for me is just the icing on the cake. My cousin though, will drop a guy if he can't deliver.

I don't think sex is the MOST important but sexual compatibility is important. Without it, one or the other will eventually get their feelings hurt.

yes, sex in a relationship is very important to me. i would like to enjoy it while i can still have it. my problem is that i have venus in leo and mars in scorpio. so basically i want it all. i want the love and romance mixed with sex and kinkiness; all at extremes and intensity.

leo in venus, moon in libra and Uranus in the 5th House...driven by passion, sex and relationships. and not the take-it-lightly kind...the deep, involved f* with your head kind. oh boy

Sex is not the most important thing. Btw, hold on to the cookie as long as you can, it makes the relationship better.

it really depends on the ppl involved, CG. i am ALWAYS making these dating faux pas! u know such as: not talking about controversial subjects on the first date (i.e. politics, religion, marriage, babies, past relationships, etc.), holding off on sex, things like that. yet things work out just wonderfully and usually in my favor. maybe it's just because of who i am and how i present myself. i'm the lay-ur-cards-on-the-table type that is rather uncompromising in the beginning.

i gave it up to my taurus after only meeting him once and it developed into a full blown, loving relationship. then again, that's just the type of ppl we are and it worked for us. in fact, i don't think sex too soon is a deal breaker for a lotta ppl. that's just my observation though.

As much as I love sex (mars in scorpio) Sometimes I want a relationship without it. I can get sex addicted easily and than thats all I see the person as. I don't think sex is important in a "partnership" how you work together and get through things is. You gotta be a team to make it. While your younger yes but perhaps as you get older sex isn't as important has having someone who you truly love be there. I'm not sure I'm only 20 but the deepest love and trust and relationship I wouldn't see sexual. It's weird. I guess it's that saggy friendship being the purest thing but thats how I see it. lol
